"I recently stayed at The Hidden House and overall had a pleasant experience, with a few areas for improvement. The interior design and decoration are a real highlight—stylish and thoughtfully done, creating a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. The staff at check-in were able to speak English, which made the process much smoother. Breakfast is also excellent value at around £2.80 per person, offering a good variety of options. The room itself was spacious and well-equipped with useful amenities. One of the standout features is the incredible view of Anshun Bridge, which is truly hard to beat, especially at night. However, there were a few downsides. The balcony was smaller than expected, and some parts of the room felt a little dated and could benefit from renovation. The hotel layout is also quite unusual—it appears to be located within a residential building, with rooms only on the 3rd, 13th, and 14th floors. Security could be improved. While key card access is required for the 13th floor, the 14th floor is accessible without restriction, which didn’t feel entirely safe. Additionally, despite informing the hotel of our arrival time (14:30) and the official check-in time being 14:00, our room was not ready upon arrival. We had to wait an extra hour, and the lack of apology or urgency from staff was disappointing. Overall, a stylish and well-located hotel with great views and value, but with some service and security issues that could be improved."

It's right next to Taikoo Li and Chunxi Road commercial areas, within walking distance of the subway station and the central business district. This makes it incredibly convenient for meeting clients or exploring, saving a lot of commute time. Attentive Service, Well-Maintained Facilities • Thoughtful Service: From the front desk during check-in to the housekeeping staff, every employee was patient and responsive, making us feel right at home. • Room Experience: While the decor shows its age and the facilities are a bit older, they are well-maintained, clean, and perfectly functional. For this location, it offers excellent value for money. • Dining Surprise: Breakfast was an unexpected bonus. The variety was extensive, and the food was delicious, providing plenty of energy for a day of work or sightseeing. Summary This is a hotel that wins with its 'prime location + soft service'. If you prioritize convenient transportation and personalized service, and aren't looking for the absolute latest in hardware, it's a very reliable choice. I'll likely stay here again on my next business trip to Chengdu."

"The location is excellent, making it incredibly convenient to get around. The hotel is near Chunxi Road, which is where you'll find the subway and shuttle buses to various attractions. The hotel breakfast is quite varied. Although my room faced the street, it was still relatively quiet. The service was also decent. However, the blackout curtains could be improved; sunlight easily seeped through the gaps in the morning. The single room isn't huge, but it offers good value for money. Overall, I'm quite satisfied."

"First off, the hotel's location is great. It's about a 15-minute walk to Kuanzhai Alley. There's a police station right across the street, and they have their own parking lot. It only fits a dozen cars or so, but having staff manage it is super convenient. Facilities: Everything is very new. The hot water is excellent, and the air conditioning works perfectly. Breakfast was also pretty good with a decent variety. The milk was so-so, but the soy milk was quite nice. Service was absolutely fantastic. Highly recommend staying here!"

"The hotel's location is great, making it convenient to get to Chunxi Road/Tai Koo Li, Wuhou Temple, and other attractions. On the street behind the hotel, there are snack shops and hot pot restaurants. A bit further, about 200 meters away, the 'Platinum City' offers a wide variety of restaurants to choose from. The hotel rooms are a bit dated in their decor, and the soundproofing is a bit poor. However, the hotel service deserves praise; the butler proactively asks about guests' needs and promptly fulfills them, which is very thoughtful."

"For cleanliness is good and location near to Tian fu square . Service is excellent when we feel uncomfortable staying in room 11 floor due to strong fragrance smell and able to relocate to 24 floor . For the amenities sad to know that the centralised aircon under maintenance and they have loan us a blowing fan . Luckily the weather is not so hot. When we book this hotel thought that there is shopping below but is a deserted construction site that was completely stop ."

"The hotel's cleanliness was excellent. I stayed for several days, and accidentally caused some cigarette burn marks in the room. The staff was very accommodating and didn't even charge me for it, which was fantastic. The overall environment here is great, really good. I'll definitely recommend it to friends in the future. It's super convenient for public transport – the subway is just a 6-minute walk away, and buses and taxis are also easily accessible. The only downsides are that they don't offer breakfast and the parking is paid. Other than that, everything was great!"

"The hallways have a faint tea aroma, the room is cozy and comfortable, the bathroom facilities are excellent, and the service is meticulous and thoughtful. Breakfast is light and delicious. The Hanfu experience is a real treat, and the VIP Chinese-style afternoon tea for two, served in the courtyard, featured exquisite and tasty refreshments. The location is superb – a tranquil courtyard tucked away from the hustle and bustle, perfectly capturing the essence of Chengdu. What I'll miss most is that authentic 'Chengdu vibe' of a hidden gem in the city."
