Lanou Hotel (Hotan New Night Market Tuancheng Scenic Area Branch)

The hotel is a standalone building with convenient parking. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. However, some room facilities need timely maintenance, such as the loose faucet in the sink and the weatherstripping on the bathroom door that falls off with a touch. The breakfast selection was also a bit limited. I suggest these areas for improvement.

The hotel was unhygienic; the faucets in the washbasins were old and unclean. The breakfast was terrible—only two dishes, and they were extremely unpalatable. It was the worst restaurant we had in Xinjiang the whole trip.

As a native of Xinjiang, I've always longed to visit the beautiful Hotan, but my accommodation there was a huge disappointment! First, the service: when there was a problem, the manager wouldn't answer the phone, and the front desk told me they couldn't solve it. They even told me to go out and find another hotel late at night, which made me very angry! Second, the cleanliness: the room was cleaned three times. The first time I entered the room, there was hair everywhere, not just hair, but other parts of the body – it made me nauseous! I angrily called for a cleaning service. The second time, the same problem occurred – hair on the bed and floor. The third time, I asked the staff to change the sheets and blankets in front of me, and as soon as they put them on, I saw several hairs – I was speechless! I'm furious!!! Anyone planning a trip to Hotan, please avoid this place! A small hotel with a four-star rating and such poor service and cleanliness! It ruined my travel experience. Terrible! Terrible! Terrible!!!

There were two Uyghur girls at the front desk. One was checking me in, and the other was idle. I stood at the front desk for a while, but no one paid any attention to me or greeted me. They even tried to chat in their native language, which I couldn't understand. After finally checking in, when I entered the room, I found used false eyelashes in the amenities box, recycled paper coasters covered in hair, stains on the bed, hair on the linens, and the curtains half-drawn. In short, the experience was terrible. There was no service, and the cleanliness was extremely poor. I even doubted whether they changed the linens for each guest. That evening, I called the front desk to ask for children's toiletries, and they said yes. However, the housekeeping staff came up and said they didn't have any. The next day's breakfast, the porridge, was diluted with water.

Hygiene: The hygiene was extremely poor. There was hair everywhere on the bed, not to mention on the floor. How could anyone sleep on a bed like that? The room's cleanliness was truly appalling. Service: The front desk service was also mediocre. Ctrip said they would contact the hotel to change rooms, but the front desk simply said they hadn't received any notification. I was also dissatisfied with the service. In short, my experience staying at this hotel was extremely poor.

There was even a charger with a QR code in the room, which has been exposed on 315 (China's consumer rights day) for being able to steal customer information. I don't know why they had it. Delivery was also delivered directly to the room, making the overall experience extremely unsafe. This was my first time staying at this brand, and I would not recommend it.
