Overall, the hotel is quite good. The staff are very friendly, and there's also an outdoor swimming pool. The only catch is that overnight parking costs $25 and is located in the lot across the street from the hotel.

The rooms were quite comfortable. There was a microwave in the room, so you could buy pre-made meals at the nearby Whole Foods and heat them up. The location is near Rice University.
