Honestly, this was a pretty great hotel for the price. The location was central and convenient, and I felt safe throughout my entire stay. It’s within walking distance of Main Street, and there’s a convenience store directly across the road, which was super convenient.
My room was perfect. I stayed on the 16th floor and really enjoyed it. The shower was probably my favorite part 😂. The control to turn the water on is positioned far enough away that you don’t have to get soaked while starting the shower. Such a small detail, but I loved it!
The hotel was under construction during my stay, but it didn’t really affect my experience. The elevators could take a little while to arrive, which was probably my biggest inconvenience. I also didn’t get a chance to try the gym, bar, or other amenities, so I can’t really speak on those. The staff did provide a helpful list of nearby areas and things to check out, which I appreciated.
My biggest complaint would definitely be the walls. They are VERY thin. I could hear conversations and other things from the room next to me… including someone having sex one night 😂. So if you’re a light sleeper, definitely bring earplugs!
One thing I definitely recommend is taking a walk to the nearby park. It’s worth checking out, especially if you want to get outside and explore the area.
Overall, I had a really good stay and felt the hotel offered great value for the price. I’d definitely consider staying here again.
