Center point energy mentioned there will be a power outage. The hotel put up the notice. I specifically asked the front desk lady if there is an alternative to power before checking in. She said Yes. When the power was out, all the rooms were in darkness, no hot water. But the reception and it's surroundings of the hotel has light. I felt decieved. There was no explanation why the alternative to power couldn't give light to the rooms we paid for. And the front desk continued saying sorry but nothing changed.

This hotel stole $114 from me. I called theml 5 or 6 times to dispute the charge and get a refund, but they kept dodging my complaint, passing it on to another supervisor, never calling me back. They wouldn't even explain what the $114 charge was supposed to be for. And I still haven't been repaid -- over a month after staying there. An investigation will follow. Beware.

The young man that checked me in was unbelievably nice. The hotel room is huge as well as the bathroom. There are many restaurants located close by and the highways were easily accessible. There is a parking deck that you have to swipe in and out of but luckily I was offered free parking since it was my first time to Houston.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. Location is great as it’s just right next to Hermann Park and many museums.

Amazing ...

We stayed for one night while visiting our daughter at UH. Was ok for driving distance to UH. All the staff were very lovely and helpful. We asked for early check in and we’re immediately accommodated. Everything is new and very clean, the beds are extremely comfortable. We didn’t have any meals at the hotel so unable to comment on that. The only thing was we weren’t aware of the parking charge ($15) but that didn’t spoil our stay. Great stay for the price we paid!

Great place to stay and it’s close to the museum district! Will be my go to next time I’m in Houston!

The room is very clean, the bedding is very comfortable, the hotel facilities are complete and relatively new, a very pleasant stay experience
