good location near beach

room smelled a little stuffy when i arrived. nothing airing the room couldn't fix. there were quite a few spiders in the corners which indicated that the room had not been occupied recently. there was a microwave in the room which was super convenient. loved that the cafe overlooked the beach. location was walking distance from market village and it was super easy to call for a grab.

The review is a bit long and I apologize to the readers.🙏🏻 Reserve a room for 2 nights Booked room Garden Bungalow (sea view on balcony) Check-in day The staff told me to stay in room 702 for one night and then move to room 701 the next day. We wonder why it is like this. Reserved for the same price and booked in a row for 2 nights and 3 days The employee said...oh, there's no one to contact? We said no. He went on to say that It's not available!! (…confused… ) The employee said the room is next to the sea as well. It's like fish teeth. We are angry. But that is, they couldn't help 😭 After checking in, the staff was dragging and pushing bags. And the path is very confusing. I feel sorry for my small suitcase😭😣 Arriving in the room, he explained quickly as if he was in a hurry….we couldn't hear him in time. But yes, I answered back. Entered the storage room. We called to borrow a cup and spoon. The employee told me to go to the restaurant and ask to borrow it. (Serve yourself)＞.＜ Can rest for less than 10 minutes. There were people who came to sweep and repair the roof at the coffee shop. Oh my gosh, the entertainment went on for a long time. There's no need to rest. Room 702 in front is a coffee shop where anyone can come in and have a drink or take pictures. Right now, the noise is very loud. I thought I'd like to come and listen to the sound of the sea waves. Let's relax a bit. But the voices of other customers who were not hotel customers came in. To check in at the coffee shop and take beautiful photos to post on social media. Then come and make noise to the hotel's customers like this. And the hotel didn't manage it properly. There is no warning sign. It's a very bad feeling. 😭 …..In the morning, the dining room Employees who are a bit fat Should he be the leader!? Welcoming customers with a loud bang It's like being dissatisfied with the customer. Then shout orders to the employees to do this and that over the heads of the customers even though the customers are sitting and eating. (I'm secretly afraid so I'm telling the truth) Well, it's not appropriate to do at all 😒 And inside the dining room, there were no fans at all, which was very hot. Sitting and eating and sweating. Going on this trip was a waste of both money and feelings. I feel very sorry for myself. Having to come and relax without having fun like this (homework size and read a lot of reviews before making a reservation here)😭😭😭 Pros: The view is really beautiful. I woke up and there was a cat waiting to sleep on the balcony. There are also monks walking for alms on the beach. And then there was the sunrise in the morning, a very beautiful view.

The location is good, right next to the beach, but the pool is small and the facilities are old. There is no bathtub. I guess it was because it was Songkran, but it was expensive and not worth the price.

I have stayed here many times and choose this place every time I go to Hua Hin. Very comfortable and good service. The balcony suite we stayed in this time was the best room type, and it was very spacious for a family of four.

Veranda Lodge (NEW PRICE) # Next to the beach in Hua Hin #what I like - The accommodation is on the beach. The price is medium, not strong and not very cheap. - Right on the beach Go out and sit on the beach all the time. afternoon/evening/morning - The accommodation offers both cafes and restaurants in one place. - Accommodation should have been open for a long time. But there was no problem in the room. - Good service staff Recommended places to visit - Plenty of parking spaces, thought it was at the end of the alley that would be difficult to find a parking space, but it was brilliant

Very good resort hotel

Stayed at the Varanda lodge for 10 nights. It has a fantastic location on the beach and a fairly short walk to the night market and almost opposite Market Village, which has a great indoor street food market on the lower floor, perfect for lunch. The room I stayed in was very clean, with balcony the rooms are a good size. Shower hot and powerful, air con efficient plenty of storage space.  The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and they spoke good English especially the lady on the night shift she would always give a lovely smile which made our stay extra special.  We had various options for breakfast all hot and freshly cooked with tea and coffee fruit juice fresh fruit etc. The best part was the view from our breakfast room/restaurant. The beach is lovely with plenty of comfortable sunbeds great walks along the sand in each direction with nice stops for a cold beer. Our room could have done with a paint. However I can see they are doing this to other rooms. Hotel was great value.

Extremely bad service. Waitress gave us the wrong drink. We tasted it and said that we didn't order it. She said you have to pay. ! Then we ordered, after everyone else got their food we asked when ours was coming. She hadn't ordered the food! Sorry this is the last time we come. Have been many times before, but this time really took the cake.

Balancing the past with the modern is a hard task and Veranda Lodge hits the target. Simple, clean living space set amongst trees and smaller plants and seconds from beach with coffee shop, pizza oven, lemonade bar and outdoor seating. Wonderful. Will continue to return again and again. Gem. Paul

Stayed at Veranda Lodge for 10 nights. There’s a lot of good points. Beach location is excellent. Nice open air restaurant on beachfront. The food was okay. There is a sun terrace. The sun bed mattresses were a bit worse for wear and some of the wooden bed frames were broken. Some areas were a bit tired - needing a refurbished.

Great to be back to one of my favorite places after five years. You can read my previous reviews - most everything remains the same. Good to see long time staff still on site in addition to new faces. Some upkeep and refreshing has been done, some still remains to be completed. If you are expecting shiny and new and 5 star service , don't come here but if you expect a beautiful natural and at times a little more rustic vibe with clean quiet rooms you won't be disappointed - though I will say I notice a bit of a split personality developing - simple, charming, rustic atmosphere in the actual lodging but an increase in young instagrammers and day users coming to hang out and take photos at the front coffee shop/lemonade stand and bean bag loungers at the front of the restaurant - that's not a critique, just an observation. The overall charm for those staying here remains.

Lovely clean rooms, we had two twin rooms with shared outside balcony which worked for us. Opening the curtains to hear the sea and see the beach was lovely. Great pizza oven on site and lovely they were to eat watching the sea. Nice breakfast with fresh food and plenty of choices. We stayed for 4 nights and loved it, launderette around the corner for 30baht (70p ish) would stay again.
