Finders Hotel Hualien Station

Cleanliness: Overall, the cleanliness was actually decent; I didn't find any particularly dirty spots. However, in the early hours of the morning, there were sounds of rats scurrying around on the ceiling... I hope they were rats, because if they were cockroaches, they'd be enormous. 😂 Even as rats, they sounded pretty big! The whole ceiling was rattling, and the noise was quite loud, which startled me, but it didn't last long (I was staying on the third floor, video attached). Facilities: Disposable amenities are not provided, so you can bring your own slippers. If you need shower slippers, you can get them on the first floor, but it's more hygienic to bring your own. Environment: It's very close to Hualien Station, just a few minutes' walk, so the location is excellent. Also, in the common area, there are cute little cats and a large projector screen that was showing the World Cup when I was there, which was quite nice. Service: The staff during both check-in and check-out were friendly. No issues there.

The hotel has been renovated, but all the toilets are old. The air conditioning was very weak; I woke up sweating and couldn't sleep well. The room itself was okay. The location is very convenient, and the front desk staff were great. There's a projector in the lobby, which is nice for watching sports.

The hotel is really close to the train station, and the area has a lot of amenities, which is great. The facilities are a bit old, but for a solo traveler, I think the price is very reasonable. The bathroom lighting isn't great; it feels a bit dim.

There's a FamilyMart convenience store right downstairs, and it's about a 7-minute walk to the station, which is super convenient. There are also a few good restaurants nearby, just a few minutes on foot. Overall, it's pretty good.

Very close to the train station, with a FamilyMart and supermarket right across the street. The room was clean, and the front desk service was excellent. They were helpful with travel inquiries, recommended restaurants, and even allowed pets.

The location is truly excellent, but the hotel is clearly showing its age. You can tell they make an effort with the cleaning, though. Also, for some reason, the air conditioning couldn't be adjusted – I woke up cold in the middle of the night and had to turn it off completely. Staying on the top floor (8th floor), you could distinctly hear the booster pump running, but thankfully it wasn't too loud.

Very close to Hualien Station, clean, and convenient. I'd definitely consider staying here again if I come back to Hualien. There's also a common lounge area on the first floor and it's pet-friendly.

Facilities: You need to bring your own toiletries, which I assume is a government requirement. Hygiene: Acceptable. Environment: Right by the train station (5-minute walk). Service: Excellent (borrowed a bike, stored luggage). Great value for money! Recommended!
