My husband and I stayed at Langwen from July 2nd to 4th, 2026, and had a wonderfully relaxing vacation. Before our arrival, the owner called to confirm our check-in time. When we got there, he enthusiastically introduced us to local delicacies and attractions, and even turned on the air conditioning for us in advance! The hotel is located downtown, making it super convenient to get to Dongdamen Night Market and various restaurants and souvenir shops. It offers great value for money and is quite affordable. The cleanliness was impressive; the bathroom glass was spotless, and the bathtub was a nice touch for a truly relaxing soak. 😎 The owner mentioned that the mattresses are high-quality, costing 70,000 NTD each, and they were indeed incredibly comfortable! ☺️ We'll definitely stay here again on our next trip to Hualien. Thanks to the owner for their thoughtfulness!

Had a wonderful stay at Lanven Home Stay! The hosts were very welcoming, friendly, and attentive. The room was tidy, clean, and had everything you needed. It was also only a short walk to the beach and night market which made it a great location. Would highly recommend this place for those visiting Hualien :)

The spacious room with two large beds provided one of my best sleeping experiences in Taiwan. Check-in was effortless, and the lady at the reception desk was exceptionally kind. The location is excellent.

We had a good overnight at Lanven Homestay. The reception was very friendly. The room was clean.

The service and attentiveness alone are beyond what five stars can describe. 1. I was traveling alone with four children, and as soon as we got off the train, the hotel staff waited for us to have dinner and greeted us at the door, guiding me to my parking spot and helping me take the children inside. 2. I forgot a set of toothbrushes, and they immediately brought them to us. 3. The air conditioning was already on for me as soon as I entered the room. 4. They kindly told the children to help themselves to the instant noodles and snacks in the living room. 5. They sent us a map of tourist attractions and restaurants in Hualien. 6. They warmly escorted us to the door when we checked out. 7. I forgot my child's charging cable, and they even mailed it back to us! ❤️ Clean environment, reasonable price, and located in the city center—highly recommended! 👍

The service was excellent. They were patient and helpful in communicating with us, and always put their guests first. Highly recommended! 👍

The equipment is relatively simple.

Overall it's good because it's very close to the night market.

Here you can get clean and tidy large rooms and friendly service from the landlord. There is something to eat downstairs from the hotel near the old railway park. Parking is not that convenient for driving, but if you ride a motorcycle, you can park on the roadside arcade. This great hotel is worth recommending.

The hotel's service is very good. It has prepared detailed travel guides to introduce nearby attractions and delicacies. It also specially takes us to the room to introduce it. It is very suitable for family or friends to stay together.
