The Baiyun Hotel was a wonderful choice for our visit. The property is charming, nestled among breathtaking mountain views that are sure to leave a lasting impression. The rooms are beautifully appointed, blending style and practicality. Our window offered a stunning panorama, and the room was equipped with all the essentials for a mountain excursion, including flashlights and warm clothing.
A highlight of our stay was the delightful breakfast included each morning, featuring a variety of fresh, local cuisine that perfectly prepared us for the day's adventures. Our manager, 黄星华, was exceptionally accommodating. She was always ready to answer our questions, providing tips on the best places to visit, and the optimal times to catch the sunrise and sunset. She was also incredibly helpful with some broader challenges we faced during our trip to China.
Overall, we highly recommend the Baiyun Hotel to anyone looking to explore Huangshan in comfort, without the need to camp outdoors. This hotel offers a perfect blend of natural beauty, comfort, and outstanding hospitality.

Location is perfect at the top of the mountain, we arrived after a day of hiking and were warmly welcomed by the hotel staff - especially Qinqin who kept in touch with us and sent us weather/cloud cover/sunrise details by message. We were so impressed and pleasantly surprised by the hotel facilities - really good food (and very reasonably priced), warm and clean room, smart toilet, mountain-view from the window, warm jackets provided for watching the sunrise (we were lucky to catch a clear sky for the sunrise!). They also prepared small items of complimenary local snacks and coffees throughout our stay. There was a small performance of the traditional opera style in the evening in the main hall which was lovely (especially for my UK partner to experience!). Would highly recommend and would stay again

The service was exceptional! From the first moment we felt really cared of and the staff were all helpful, servicial and friendly. Specially Yanyan took really good care of us, sending us news and related useful info through WeChat. After a long day of hiking we were exhausted and found a comfortable and warm room already prepared to us. 10/10 I would highly recommend it!

I got to give a special shout out to 宋书琳. She has been very helpful with our stay at Bai Yun. Not only did she assist us with the accommodation and ensure that we are comfortable, she also provided my family with tips and guidance for our Huangshan hike.
Although we got to hike up a bit to guangming ding for sunrise. Bai Yun has also very kindly provided us with down jacket, which was really useful for your morning hikes to see sunrise

Super nice hotel with very good service.
The hotel is located very near to 大峡谷网红小火车, and is located between the famous 迎客松 and the hill top 光明顶。
The hotel room comes with everything u need (at least for the room in Block A). Toiletries, smart toilet, heater, hair dryer and even charging cables. So u no need to bring power adaptor n cables with u. It also provides umbrella, down jacket n torch light for u to dress up for sunrise viewing the next day.
The service crew 小宋 and 琴琴 were both super nice too. Provides all info needed, including time for sunrise etc. There were Chinese traditional opera show at the foyer at night too.
If u were to stay here, consider Block A or C. Block B apparently is a flight of stairs away.

We liked the hotel very much! Very nice location, not to far from the main attractions on the mountains. Very friendly staff, we felt welcome and even get a welcome snack from the hotel. Room was not very big, but had everything we needed, even a warm jackets. The point where you can watch a sunset is very close as well. Near hotel there is a food court, but you can get a buffet dinner in the hotel as well. The price is reasonable given that you are on the top of the mountain and all things have to be carried by porters to the hotel. We also were lucky to see a dragon dance in the evening:)

We had an amazing stay at Baiyun Hotel. Xiaoye was our host and she looked after us for the whole stay, sending updates via WeChat and keeping us informed about weather, breakfasts, dinners and free concerts downstairs. A memorable person on our travels in China. Our room was warm, comfortable and well tended, with complimentary thermal coats for the sunrise and sunset. 10/10 would come back again.
