I recently spent two nights at Carnival hotel in Yangshuo and had a pleasant stay. The hotel is nicely maintained, the room is spacious. Its location was ideal, being very close to both the city's attractions/bustling night market (around 10/15 min walking) and the country side area. One drawback was that my room was situated right next to the lift, which could be a bit noisy. On the positive side, the hotel offers scooter rentals (whole day for 30 RMB – can ride 50km) and the staff were really helpful. However, as in other places in China, communication might be challenging if you only speak English, as their Chinese language skills are more proficient. Overall, it's a great option with some minor room for improvement.

What a beautiful place it is! ⛰️✨ Staffs were friendly and energetic. Huangshan’s atmosphere and people gave me the feeling of hometown vibes. The hotel is located at the South gate of Huangshan mountain, just the perfect spot. The staff explained us with great information about the route of Mount Huangshan, even provide us necessary stuffs like, hiking stick, map and raincoat (just in case it’s raining). Hotel first floor is a restaurant, and top floor is kinda like a bar and you can even go upstairs to the roof deck. (Which you could see sun rise, sunset there!) But what we saw was moon rise. 🤭 Because the hotel was located outside the city so public transportation was quite limited. Anyway, the hotel was very good for reaching out and help us with our next destination! Appreciate very much! Hope to visit again soon! ❤️❤️

From the start they have been very helpful. We had a train delay and it was easy to communicate with them to determine the best way for us to reach the hotel. Because we didn’t have a Chinese number and thus couldn’t order a taxi, the hotel staff was so kind to pick us up from the transfer center. They take their time to explain the different routes to the mountain and even provided us with a rain poncho. 10/10 recommend!

Excellent place! The location is absolutely perfect, within 5 walking minutes from the transfer station to the cablecars. The room is really nice and clean. The free laundry is a real plus. At 15 RMB, breakfast ticks the price-to-quality ratio box. The staff here does an amazing job. They are friendly and helpful. For instance, they took care of our laundry during a thunderstorm while we were hiking the Huangshan.

The staff was amazing, the nicest I've had in China and some of the best I've met anywhere around the world. They called in a guy who had good English when I arrived, upgraded my rooms, marked on the map which parts of the park are closed and the route they'd recommend me to take and even gave me a rain coat, since the weather was bad. They made my stay really special! The hotel itself is very nice as well, with a very traditional Chinese vibe. The location is perfect, 2-3 minutes walk to the entrance of Huangshan Scenic Area. There's also a convenience store and restaurant right downstairs, and a larger shopping street nearby. I definitely recommend staying here!

Very nice stay! The hotel’s location is good—very close to the bus station. We didn’t have to walk much the morning we were going to hike, as the bus station was nearby. There are restaurants and supermarkets around. The room was clean, and the staff were so friendly and helpful; they helped us arrange car pools whenever we needed. The breakfast was also perfect.

Best location and best choice to stay here

One of the best budget hotel to stay prio Huangshan climbing. The 6pm free Huangshan trip briefing from the coach is valuable. He helped planned our routes to summit.

I’ve been living in China for more than five years and this has to be the best service I’ve encountered so far. The laoban seems to know everyone in town and can get you a discount on massages and the hot spring near the hotel as well as insisting on taking you there himself. The location is great, five minutes walk from the south entrance of the mountain and near a few local restaurants.

Location: Across the bridge from the B&B is the Xiaoyaoxi bus stop, which is very convenient! Room: At first, I felt that the air conditioning was a little lacking in heating, but the store was very considerate and gave us an extra room card to keep the air conditioning plugged in to keep the room warm. The quilt was light and thick, and the bed was soft and comfortable. It was not cold at all when sleeping at night! Food: I had two dinners and one breakfast at the B&B. The taste was good and the price was reasonable. There was no need to compare with other places! Service: Super value, the boss's tour suggestions were very practical, which made our one-day Huangshan trip very perfect and easy. This was the most unexpected service! Thank you!

The room was very clean. We arrived very late at night. The owner was very enthusiastic in explaining the route to climb Huangshan Mountain. Later, we found that we bought the cable car ticket at the wrong place and changed the ticket temporarily. It saved us a lot of trouble. Thank you

The room is clean and hygienic. The boss and his wife are very welcoming. There are raincoats and hiking poles when you enter the store. The key is that there is also a thoughtful route planning service and a hand-drawn map. It must be praised.

Very good homestay, highly recommended, very welcoming, the food is delicious! We came from Malaysia and felt at home!!
