It rained when I reached the peak. The reception was kind to allow early checkin. There is heater in the 10-bed room. Hot water provided for own sachet of coffee and noodle cup. 1 cup of coffee costs 30 yuan. Breakfast as per photo attached. No water provided. Use cooled hot water for cleaning. . Good comfy bed.

Good place. Staff was nice, food was good although expensive (very nice 牛肉面) and the location was perfect with a fantastic view. The room was basic but comfortable. You can get hot water from the reception and there's both a little restaurant and an outdoor food stall. Easy to find, I recommend taking the West Peak/西峰 cablecar on the way up. Quiet surroundings and there's a heater to keep the room warm at night. Beds were clean, no problem with lack of cleaning. The toilets smelled and there were no showers, but this was advertised in the general information already. Toilets are the same public toilets found everywhere on Hua Shan, they're not great but not terrible either. The price is not cheap, but you pay for staying on top of the mountain far from everything, and the location is perfect for the sunrise. I expected worse from the previous reviews, but this was more than fine. I didn't eat the breakfast since there was a power outage (also happened at West Peak later that day, the price for being on a high mountain top I guess). The staff apologised and asked me to wait until the power came back, but I was eager to start hiking so just decided to skip it. You could still get food from the outside stall if needed.

Conveniently located to witness sunset and sunrise

The public toilet problem mentioned by other netizens is not exaggerated, it is written very realistically, but this is not a problem that the hotel can solve. There are food next to the accommodation, and it is not expensive. The water supply is good, but sometimes the water pressure is low. The duty room has always had hot water supply, and the staff on duty are also very friendly. It is really close to watch the sunrise and the kite turning over here, it is very convenient to watch the sunrise. When the weather is good, you can also see the sunset in the direction of the West Peak. Overall, it is a good accommodation.

The space capsule I stayed in was a long way from Dongfeng Hotel, and it took 20 minutes to climb the mountain (the house on the mountain in Figure 2 is Dongfeng Hotel). The requirements for accommodation on Huashan Mountain should not be too high. I saw someone setting up a tent, and asked in the morning that it was very cold at night. At least there was heating in the place where I slept, and I was woken up by 🥵 all night. The overall hygiene was OK, not as humid as I imagined. There was hot water, and the water quality was not drinkable, but it was fine for brushing teeth and washing face.

How to say it, the hotel is very close to the East Peak, next to the Yaozi Flip. The location is fine. However, the room of 1500 per night is actually next to the so-called safety passage. The safety passage can be used to stay outdoors at night. The hotel is in an open area, and there are tourists who climb at night to watch the sunrise, which is understandable. From 2 am to 5:30 am, there is no way to fall asleep. There is no bathroom in the room. When I opened the door in the middle of the night, I found that there were 3 tourists blocking the door to rest. Not to mention that I couldn’t get out, I was scared to death when I opened the door. I complained to Ctrip in the early morning, and the hotel manager’s reply was worth pondering. We have patrol staff, who can only remind, not drive away. Excuse me, what is the difference between that and indulgence? ? And there is a clear price for renting coats at your door. What’s more annoying is that in the morning, I met a guest staying in the bed room of the hotel, but the room was quieter than ours. I have stayed in the mountaintop hotels of Mount Tai and Mount Huang. The East Peak Hotel in Mount Hua is the most upright. And the hotel introduction concealed important information. It affected the customer’s booking judgment. If I had known this earlier, I would rather book 10 capsule rooms and hope that my 5-year-old child and 70-year-old mother could have a good rest.

Living in Huashan is a no-choice choice. Huashan Mountain is beautiful, but as a five-A scenic spot, the smell of the bathroom is really rare in modern society. It is hoped that the Huashan Management Bureau will seriously resolve this issue that affects the image of Huashan.

I think sleeping in a space capsule is safer than sleeping in a bunk bed. There is a toilet outside the gate.
