Great afternoon tea yesterday. It was served beautifully, with very pleasant staff. It was a lovely atmosphere to the place. The taste of every item on the stand was gorgeous. It's on a level with the Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi. So we'll done, the Manor House.nwe will be back

Visit was at lunchtime to the kitchen as a family of 3 using a xmas present voucher.The whole experience was disappointing.I had the club sandwich which was mostly huge slices of bread with modest filling.Couldnt get my mouth round it it was so huge.My son had a bacon sandwich (not described as this of course) with animal hairs on the crackling and my husband had the full breakfast.Definitely wouldn't return .The setting is lovely but the food just too "arty farty" for us.

I went for a second afternoon tea with my husband yesterday to use vouchers I had kindly been given on my retirement. The two afternoon teas (in Aril and June) were absolutely excellent and the cocktails we had to accompany the tea were just wonderful. The service is exceptional. Yesterday George looked after us and was attentive, extremely friendly and professional. 10/10. On the previous occasion Craig was equally friendly and professional and it was very nice that he popped to see us on the second visit, having remembered us. All in all a fabulous experience that I could recommend to everyone.

I booked Manor House as a birthday treat for my partner, and it exceeded all expectations. Our Superior King room was exquisite, and the mezzanine level, roll top bath together with the open-plan wet room was simply breathtaking. From the moment we arrived, we received such a warm welcome from the staff, with lovely personal touches including birthday wishes and sweet treats that made the occasion feel even more special. We also enjoyed drinks in the bar, where Kai was incredibly attentive and polite, serving beautifully made cocktails with excellent service throughout. Breakfast the following morning was equally enjoyable — the only thing missing was beans! We absolutely loved our stay at Manor House and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable experience.

We enjoyed the setting of the afternoon tea, the crockery was lovely and the tea presented well. We were disappointed with the sandwiches, there were only 2 small sandwich ' pieces' per person and it seemed they had been stood as the bread was slightly hard. The scones were lovely but the sweets were a bit too sweet and sickly for us.

We honestly could not have asked for a more perfect wedding day and night at Manor House. From start to finish, everything was absolutely incredible, and all of our guests fell in love with the venue just as much as we did. I genuinely don’t think the day could have gone any better, and we are so grateful to the entire team for making it so unforgettable. The staff were still nothing short of amazing with nothing been too much to ask! The venue itself is absolutely stunning. Every detail is so beautiful and thoughtfully done, creating the most perfect setting for a wedding. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel so special and welcomed by every single member of staff. The whole experience, from booking our special day with Jaine and receiving the most beautiful flowers as a thank you, to walking into our room on the night of the wedding to find a lovely card and an engraved bottle of champagne waiting for us, was just beyond anything we could have imagined!! It’s the little thoughtful touches and genuine care from the team that made the experience feel so magical. A huge thank you to Amy, Manuel, Ruby, Jaine, and everyone else involved — you truly couldn’t do enough for us, and your attention to detail made the whole day run so smoothly - you guys are the dream team 🤍 We cannot recommend Manor House highly enough to anyone looking for the perfect wedding venue with the most incredible team behind it. We called Sunday after hearing good reviews about the restaurant, glad we did as it definitely is the best Sunday dinner experience we have had, all the staff are on top form from the minute you arrive, we had octopus starter with roast beef main then choose cheeses for desert we also had the stone bass which was excellent We will definitely be back to try the restaurant menu.
