Like another reviewer I became jittery the night before we left about the hotel being part of a shopping mall - silly me! We had such a great week staying here that we want to return next year (and we rarely return anywhere because there are so many new places waiting to be visited)! Everything about the hotel suited us perfectly. Lovely hotel, great staff, fantastic choice and quality at breakfast, quiet even though you're in the town and, as for the roof terrace - all whirlpools should be that big and have those wonderful views! Before I sound as though it was perfect I must confess that putting out the lighting on the first night caused a bit of a problem but we eventually worked out what to do, and we did get used to the low levels of lighting in the room and the lifts. Although we enjoyed cocktails by the pool, we didn't eat in the restaurant or drink in the bar but that was only because there are so many bars, restaurants and cafes within easy reach that it would have been a shame to miss out on some fantastic experiences. We were also there during the flower festival, which gave us beautiful sights and became our regular evening walk being so close to the hotel. Oh, and the icing on the cake - one of our favourite shops, Massimo Dutti, is at the entrance to the mall!

The Barcelo Old Town is wonderfully central. It is suitable for all travelers who do not want to go to the hotel district of Funchal in mass tourism. By the central location in Baixa von Funchal, the hotel is ideal for extensive visits to the city. Despite the central location, the rooms are absolutely quiet. A highlight is the roof terrace with pool. Wonderful for relaxation after long day trips with a great view of Funchal. Breakfast is very good. Fresh prepared egg food, fresh fruit and a large selection of other foods. Every type of breakfast is personally designable. Very nice spacious room with a very good bed for relaxed sleep. All staff were extraordinarily friendly and helpful, in accordance with the standard of the house. Important notice: the hotel has no own parking space. Whoever has a car hire, must hire it in a parking house, but that is no problem. When you arrive and leave, you can go to the hotel. Do not distract the marking. For the be and discharge you can enter the traffic-relent area. Conclude: The hotel is absolutely recommended!!

Very good location, various full breakfasts, staff available. The weak point is that there are only six places where you can park, but often you already have it. The room is very big at the entrance of the house, and I feel a lot better at once. The exposed balcony is comfortable and not necessary. It is very convenient to dry clothes temporarily. The laundry room is fast and cheap. Enter the door to drink popcorn lemonade and take off happily. The bar at night is super atmosphere. Listening to the beautiful song, relaxing and falling asleep, the service staff is caring, the island parking is inconvenient, there is no need to worry about the hotel parking service, but the charge is 20 euros a day

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Loved the decor with lots of African artifacts and a very luxurious but homely feel. Room was very comfortable and unexpectedly had a separate lounge area. We expected a garden view, but were pleasantly surprised it also incorporated a sea view. Spa was excellent, pools lovely temperature and really enjoyed access to sea swimming. Our only complaint was that the snack/bar menu offerings were poor - very small portions and just poor quality. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful. Given bar food experience we didn’t try the restaurant - in any event we prefer to try the local cuisine.

Amazing stay at Vinpearl Hue. The staff was amazing ( all the front desk employee , the concierge was really helpful since we wanted to have some info for the imperial city. Pool attendants both amazing and really attentionned to small details). Vinpearl was one of our highlights of our trip ! Room was really clean and the view was incredible . Nice sky bar. The hotel is very close to the Xiangjiang River, you can take a walk nearby to enjoy the scenery/night view. Some nearby businesses/restaurants affected by the epidemic are not open. The cost of the rickshaw I took is VND100,000 for a round trip. If not specified, the itinerary is led by the driver. When getting off the bus, the driver strongly recommends tipping more. The shopping recommended by the driver is not worthy of reference. The sound insulation of the hotel room is not very good. If there are noisy guests living nearby, it may affect the rest. The service staff is kind, and the options provided for breakfast are not bad, perhaps because there are fewer guests affected by the epidemic.

A beautiful and stylish resort nested in a lush tropical setting in a quiet and authentic neighborhood just outside Hue. The very efficient, polite and friendly staff provide a perfect service. Comfortable, spacious and very pleasant rooms. Plentiful, well attended breakfast with an very satisfying and complete choice of food options. Big, beautiful and very pleasant pool. The staff kindly but firmly make sure the rules are respected to keep the place quiet and pleasant for everybody. The complimentary 30 minutes spa therapy is a pleasant plus. Kindly upgrade on my second stay. Nothing to fault this lovely place really. Thank you Xin Chao for the kind supervision of my reservation and stay. Looking forward to my next stay at the wonderful Pilgrim Village.

Nice part of town and close walking distance to many places such as walking street, vincom, river and much more. A bit of history if you look really close and experience something unique. Breakfast was ok and rooms are a bit dated but that's the charm of the hotel. Gym could be upgraded as only one treadmill that didn't work and one bike that wasn't plugged in. Universal exercise machine must have been as old as the hotel but all in all good value for money.

We stayed just one night in Hue. The hotel was fantastic, with a really nice swimming pool. Very clean and tidy rooms and excellent breakfast. I really recommend the hotel. Also they have nice restaurant just next to the hotel if you are looking for good Vietnamese food. Extra point: I forgot some stuff in the hotel and they managed to send it to me from Hue to Da Nang in less than 24h. This is not related to the hotel accommodations, but I really appreciate what they did.

This hotel has been a life saver to us. It is the second time we stay there and we honestly enjoy going back. The best balance out there as regards price-amenities. Its location is great, not only is it in Hue which we use like a stop over place while travelling between Da Nang and other places in Vietnam, but it is also situated on the river bank. In the morning you can have your breakfast while watching the boats sail out from the banks of the river next to the hotel. Highly recommended. We will be going back.

I visited Bedana with my friends this summer and enjoyed it so much that I visited Vedana again with my parents!! Although it is a little far from Da Nang, Grab is easily available and you can use the car reserved by the hotel to return, so there is no inconvenience. Needless to say, the resort facilities were great, and the two outdoor swimming pools and spa were truly the best!!! My dad said it was by far the best massage he got in Vietnam. They let you borrow bicycles for free, so it was fun to ride the bikes and go sightseeing. The staff were also very friendly, and it was really convenient because if you told the dedicated staff member your requests via KakaoTalk, they would immediately reflect them.

The latter was chosen between the Morin Hotel and Alba Spa. In fact, if you book through Booking, the Morin Hotel can be upgraded (the original Morin room type is larger), but you can see Alba's online ”hot spring pool” ”(In fact, it is a spa pool), I still chose the latter silently, because the children at home like to soak in hot springs. As a result, I arrived at the front desk of the hotel and found that the spa is charged after 7 pm and can be entered at the age of 16 or more ... I hope the hotel will inform you more fully on the booking website in the future. The following self-summaries of the advantages and disadvantages of the hotel are for your reference: 1. There are fewer front desk staff. I waited at the front desk for at least 3-4 minutes when I checked in before I arrived. This is quite different from my previous service experience at the Monak Hotel in Danang; 2. The hotel does not provide a separate shower room, but only a bathtub, but the height of the bathtub is a bit high, which is likely to cause danger when stepping in and out; 3. The location of the hotel is good and quiet; 4. Breakfast is quite rich, and the small outdoor view (city view) is the highlight; 5. The hotel's charter service needs to be improved. For some reason, the charter driver we booked through the hotel secretly took several photos of our family at the end of the service.

A wonderfully appointed modern hotel with a strong nod to where you are. We visited the spa, ate in the restaurant several times. My only non positive comment is a slight lack of process and consistency. The staff were lovely and attentive but the spa experience process needed a little sharpening up, the consistency of drink and table presentation in the dining room was a little haphazard and housekeeping also was a little inconsistent. Small things but just bot quite to the standard of the property. Would still recommend though!

After returning to the room, you can spend a relaxing cocktail time on the veranda, looking at the royal palace and flag lit up over the Perfume River, and spending time without saying anything until your rest. It was the best hotel for the elderly.

We searched for hotels in Hue that are a true value, and Soleil house is definitely that! Our room and the friendly courteous staff exceeded our expectations! Our room was about 40m², and was nicely appointed. It was sunny & breezy, spacious and comfortable. It had a nice view up the road, and a partially enclosed balcony with chairs and table. The king size bed was comfortable, and the linens crisp and clean. The spacious bathroom was nicely laid out, with sliding glass door enclosed shower. The reception and management team, Ms. Hieu and Ms. Vy were very attentive, knowledgeable, and professional. Ms. ?, the housekeeper, did an excellent job keeping the hotel, and our room super clean & hygienic. Soleil house is located central to pretty much everything in Hue; easy to get to the Citadel, restaurants,Tourist areas and attractions, and train station… all within 2 km radius. Talk about convenient! Free parking out front too!. We knew we were in the right hotel for our quick trip to Hue. We felt comfortable and relaxed here, and recommended it to locals and foreigners looking for a great value! Wishing all of you who stay here to have the same experience and feelings about this place, that we have! We’ll stay here again.

It was not easy to find this place and not in the main area but it was easy to get a taxi (20k to 30k dong) to bring you to restos and shops and back. The river beside it is serene in peaceful. The room was tastefully done and shampoo and bath gel smelled really good . Staff was exceptionally pleasant, efficient, friendly and speak good english. Breakfast is ordered the night before..very practical and quite good too We booked our dragon boat tour to pagoda and citadel plus our private car to Hoi An. Our driver Jack was good driver and speaks english too. The parting gift ( small bottle of cajaput oil) is such a nice touch. By the way, this cajaput oil is sold in Hue and very helpful essential oil. The problem is..this is sold everywhere but since most dont speak english, you are not told that you can not bring it on board the plane..carry on and checked in luggage. We bought quite a lot and customs were quite strict about it. We had no choice but to take them all out since cajaput is highly flammable.

A newly refurbished hotel; all the facilities seem very new and worked well. A friendly welcome at reception and we were then shown to a really well furnished room on the top floor. The satellite tv system was excellent ; good range of English channels helped me catch up with international news events. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was lovely. Everything is so new and really works well. Breakfast was good with a range of local items to try and a good range of eggs - my omelette was delicious. Would definitely recommend.

Spatel d’Annam Boutique Hotel What a lovely hotel for us to enjoy at the end of our trip to Vietnam. We selected this hotel for its reviews which were so positive as well as for its fantastic position, close to the Royal Imperial Palace. Our room had a mezzanine with the bed upstairs and the bathroom and sitting area downstairs. We have been so fortunate during our travels to meet the staff who make the accommodation so pleasurable. We had the most wonderful welcome from Tu Trinh on our arrival. She explained clearly all our options for our stay and provided a very helpful map to get to and from the night markets, some of the historic monuments and the city centre. Arriving on New Year’s Eve we shared a special set menu dinner. It was a very happy affair where we met other guests and had a chat with the manager of the hotel, Dang Nhan and Ms Ly who so kindly guided my wife through the options for a coeliac. We enjoyed our stay. They took care to provide gluten free options each morning at breakfast, and my wife enjoyed a relaxing massage at the spa. On our departure we were farewelled as life long friends. These wonderful people who took such beautiful care of us during our stay will stay in our memories for ever. We will certainly return to once again enjoy the hospitality and kindness of all at the Spatel d’Annam.

I had a 2-night trip to Hue in the last days of March 2023, choosing a place for me to have a good experience for this trip is very difficult. Fortunately, I was introduced to Kha Hotel by a friend because they had a good experience here. The hotel is located in a small alley but inside the room furniture is very complete. Entering the hotel was a very welcoming receptionist and I was confirmed in great detail by the staff. The staff is always there every time I need support, I don't need to worry about the cost of vehicles because there are free bikes here. Since the hotel is located on the walking street and right in the city centre, I can go around the Hue citadel or Perfume River. The room is clean, the bed is good, the air conditioning, the heater is always turned on every time you take a shower, free wifi is very good. There are also bus tickets here, so I don't need to go far to buy them. If you don't have much cost, they will introduce you to places you can go to with cheaper fares, affordable room rates including breakfast. The breakfast was eye-catching and palatasteful, I loved coffee so I asked more, they were very generous to give me more coffee. They also care about us when it's almost raining, they have umbrellas available to lend to us. I think our trip to Hue this time is perfect to be here. A place worth recommending to all my friends if you come to Hue.

What I am most satisfied with here is the staff (Nhi, Thao, Tai, with the sister at the front desk forgot to ask for the name) were very enthusiastic, helped and guided us attentively. The location of the hotel is very convenient for eating and playing. Early in the morning, you can walk around the Perfume River to enjoy the fresh air. In the evening, walk around Truong Tien bridge to enjoy the scenery and check in by the river with the lights, then walk the streets to feel the bustle and bustle of Hue at night. In addition, the hotel also has all the bar services, massage, car rental, especially very affordable prices. Unfortunately, we have to return. See you Hue and friends in the near future 😍😍😍

This hotel is really good value for money! Although it is not on the main street, the path to enter is very short, the floor tiles are very flat, and the environment is very clean, unlike many small Vietnamese alleys. After entering the door, the check-in was quick, the front desk was enthusiastic, neat and thoughtful! While waiting to be processed, we will provide free delicious juices and fruits, ask if you need to book a drop-off service, and deliver your luggage to your room first. After you finish eating, you will be sent to your room, and a particularly detailed and tidy map will be provided, suggesting your travel route according to your schedule, and telling all attractions the opening time. There is another fruit in the room! The room is not too big but it is enough, the decoration is very elegant and exquisite, and the sanitation level is no exaggeration to say that it is a five-star level, which is the best among so many hotels in Vietnam. The soundproofing of the room is very good. The room opposite to me is the SPA room. No noise was heard all day. Eat breakfast the next day, the locomotive is scheduled to arrive, and I will remind you on time. The breakfast is also very good. The waiter will take the initiative to ask you to choose Hue rice noodles or Western-style omelettes, as well as tea, milk or coffee. The location is also great! It’s only a 35-minute walk from the area where there are many cafes and restaurants, and the surrounding area is very delicious. Only stayed one night at the hostel due to time but I wish I could have stayed longer! The owner is so so kind! Clean rooms and bathrooms, great breakfast served in the morning. Was able to book a scooter with them to drive the Hai Van Pass to Hoi An. They shipped my bag off to my hostel in Hoi An worry-free. I was able to drive the pass with two other guests who had easy riders. The easy riders were also very friendly and driving with them was so much fun!
