Amazing stay at Vinpearl Hue. The staff was amazing ( all the front desk employee , the concierge was really helpful since we wanted to have some info for the imperial city. Pool attendants both amazing and really attentionned to small details). Vinpearl was one of our highlights of our trip ! Room was really clean and the view was incredible . Nice sky bar. Truly a 5 stars hôtel with the small attentions they give you!

The lovely owner Quy and his wife absolutely bent over backwards to look after me during my stay here. A few examples: I couldn’t find a DMZ tour that was running, so Quy organised a trip with a friend of his by private car for a very reasonable price. I bought a bus ticket to Hoi An and the bus company rang the hotel to cancel- by the time I found out about it, the owners had already been on the phone trying to find me an alternative. I could not have asked for a better experience, thank you so much Quy and your lovely family for making me so welcome. I should also say that the room was lovely and extremely clean, plus it was in a great location. I would recommend Canary Boutique to anyone but particularly solo travelers as the level of care I got here absolutely floored me. Would give them 11/10 if I could!

The room type, price and environment are all very nice. There are many varieties for breakfast. Enjoy the fruits. It's a pity that I was rushed on this business trip and didn't stay for a few more days. I will stay here again next time I come to Da Nang.

The hotel is very close to the Xiangjiang River, you can take a walk nearby to enjoy the scenery/night view. Some nearby businesses/restaurants affected by the epidemic are not open. The cost of the rickshaw I took is VND100,000 for a round trip. If not specified, the itinerary is led by the driver. When getting off the bus, the driver strongly recommends tipping more. The shopping recommended by the driver is not worthy of reference. The sound insulation of the hotel room is not very good. If there are noisy guests living nearby, it may affect the rest. The service staff is kind, and the options provided for breakfast are not bad, perhaps because there are fewer guests affected by the epidemic.

Lam and My are a wonderful couple running their friendly family Homestay. If you want a typical western hotel this is not for you …. but for charm and care of their guests it cannot be beaten. My cooks the breakfast and the choice and quality is superb. Our room was open, clean, with comfortable beds and quality bedding. There is good strong wi-fi, air conditioning if needed and fridge. Lovely to sit out on the balcony and have a few beers. Nothing is too much trouble. We took up Lam’s offer to drive us to see some of the best parts of Hue - well thought out itineraries to fit our interests and level of fitness. We would like to thank Lam, My and their two boys for welcoming us into their family. Would not hesitate to recommend.

This is a really nice hotel on the river front, very close to the Imperial Citadel and near many restaurants and a bar street. The staff where very friendly and helpful, especially Loi who was very welcoming and proactive. The buffet selection was also very good.

Really liked this hotel. My room was comfortable and clean, the pool was good, and the location was very handy. But the highlight was the breakfast, which was incredibly varied and fresh, and served in the top floor restaurant with excellent views of the city.

We seemed to have had a very different experience from everyone else. I know Mrs Trinh won’t like this review and despite her constantly grabbing my arm and telling me everything was ok, is was not. She may view me as a difficult woman but I am very well travelled, used to live in Asia and I can only tell the truth from what we experienced. I asked before we arrived, if possible, we would like a high floor or top floor room - oh how I wish I hadn’t asked. I take responsibility for asking for the top floor but regardless they shouldn’t give out substandard rooms and especially not at the price they charged. We arrived after 10pm, to find Mrs Trinh shouting at a member of staff and turning to us, telling us he was giving her big problems as he has given away the top floor room. We were then made to wait while they woke some poor person up and made them move, which made us very uncomfortable. When we finally got in the room it was truly horrible. Tiled from ceiling to floor it felt like sleeping in a public toilet. The sink plumbing wasn’t connected and poured all over the floor and you had to hold the shower in your hand as the wall attachment was broken and room did not feel clean. The balcony was literally one foot wide, so forget about sitting on it and the door didn’t lock. There was no view anyway. The sheets were stained and had a hole in. If we had paid the normal £10-15 maybe it was all fair enough but because of the public holiday we were charged £45 !!!!!! No where else in Vietnam did we suffer such a price hike. Our next hotel in Hoi An was glorious with a pool and was £12 whilst still in the public holiday period. We asked to move the next day and had a better room but checked out a day early. If you pay £10-15 fair enough but whatever you do, don’t ask for the top floor. I suspect it might be staff accommodated, if not, waking up a paying guest late at night and making them move is unacceptable. Truthfully our worse hotel experience in Vietnam and we moved on a day early.

A wonderful hotel, slightly off the beaten track but an excellent place to stay. The hotel itself is modern, clean and accommodating. The staff are brilliant, helpful, friendly staff and yet, professional. The breakfast buffet is awesome with a great variety and fantastic options. Rooms are spacious and comfortable as is the bed. A walk in shower is a real bonus. Recommended and it's a short cab ride to the CBD.
