Country Garden Silver Beach Hotel

This hotel is acceptable, but it feels quite old and dated. Unfortunately, I did not enjoy the overall atmosphere of the property. The biggest issue was the humidity in the room. The air felt damp, and even the bedding seemed slightly moist, which made the stay uncomfortable. On the positive side, the hotel was quiet, and it was easy to get a good night's sleep. Overall, the hotel was not to my taste, and I would probably choose a different place next time. And not silver beach

Excellent location but fairly dated and humid. Right on the beach, close to restaurants and bars, the hotel feels quite old and needs a bit of a fixing up. Only two of the five lifts seem to be working, meaning it takes a long time to get up and down. The room itself was nice and big, large bed, lounge area, and amazing view of the water. Unfortunately, it was also very damp, and the floor was slippery with water. There was a dehumidifier in the room, fortunately, but it fills up in a few hours, so they can't leave it running constantly. The aircon doesn't work super well, so it got very hot and humid in the room around 4 am. The staff was friendly and it was easy to get to. Would be an amazing hotel if it were less humid and the lifts worked.

For the room size and the location right by the sea, it was genuinely a great deal. You can really see the potential here – but like many other reviews mention, the property is clearly aging. Where it falls short is the service, which feels lacking. The breakfast, in particular, was expensive for what was offered, especially for foreign travellers. The selection was limited, and the only thing we truly enjoyed were the noodles. The beach itself could be beautiful, but it desperately needs cleaning. It’s also heartbreaking to see so many surrounding businesses shut down – the area felt desolate and sad. On a positive note, Lima House on the ground floor was absolutely amazing.
