Tiny, very old building with no elevator – had to lug my bags up the stairs to check in. The cleanliness was questionable; the moment I entered, the room reeked of the previous guest's shower gel and felt incredibly damp. If my flight hadn't been so delayed and I wasn't utterly exhausted, I honestly couldn't have slept here. Considering I paid around 700 a night, this place wouldn't even be worth 70 back home. Seriously, think twice before booking!

The property is very close to every thing. The groceries, public beach, very convenient. Staff service is very good specially from Isha who is very accommodating even before I arrived until I departed the property. The room is very clean. Bidet handle/sprayer is a bit hard though. I suggest to add kettle and coffee amenity in the room, then it’s perfect. Great for one or 2 days lay over. I love the Koi in front of their hotel.

Upon arriving at Hotel Rara, I was informed that the room had some issues and was being repaired. I was taken by van to another building and given a nice room, but unfortunately, it lacked toiletries and a towel. I had to wait 30 minutes for a towel and shampoo; I never received soap, and there was no hot water. In the morning I was picked up to go to Hotel Rara for breakfast. The information was unclear, and I think that creates distrust. I wouldn't return.

The one thing I am tremendously happy and grateful for is the customer service team at RaRa HM. Special mention for Isha for her attention to the guest needs and extraordinary help given to make my stay an enjoyable one. She was polite and patience. Helps a lot in giving information related to touristy matters. I must say she is well informed and knowledgeable. And also the rest of the crew working at the hotel lobby are helpful and friendly team

Avoid this hotel! First, there's absolutely no Chinese-speaking service. Second, the hotel is incredibly dirty; the sheets and pillows look like they're years old. The overall environment is awful, filthy, and the lights flicker. There were several charges; the receptionist initially asked for $98, but I said I could pay $48 after my current booking. She looked at it for a while and then said "Sorry." Also, the surrounding area is terrible; it's extremely noisy downstairs at night, making it impossible to sleep.
