We stayed at the hotel just for a quick night's sleep before taking the ferry to the island in the morning. For this purpose, it's quite suitable. The room is small and reasonably clean, there is a shower, and the bed linen is fine. However, the bed is short—might be an issue if you're 180 cm tall or taller... Breakfast-wise, in terms of selection and quality, you won't go hungry. BUT, what surprised us—and this is a first for us—was that a cafe staff member stood right behind our backs, breathing down our necks and closely watching how much and what we were putting on our plates... It was kind of funny, but also quite unpleasant.

H78 is a transit hotel on a local island in Malé, and it offers great value for money in terms of service.

The room was small and a bit old, but thankfully it was just for a one-night stopover before catching the island hopper flight tomorrow. There was no sea view at all from our room on the 2nd floor. The location is not bad, right by the beach. The service was also okay, though I'm not sure if that was because I tipped 10 dollars.

It's alright, a decent option for a layover, but I wouldn't recommend it for a longer stay. It's quite small, but the service is good. They had someone waiting at the airport with a sign, who confirmed my name before I got in the car. Upon check-in, they informed me that the seaplane transfer would be the next day and that they would provide transportation to the airport. The hotel opens right out to the sea, which is beautiful. You can go out and take photos while waiting for the shuttle in the morning.

The hotel is right by the sea, and breakfast was delicious! However, the room and bathroom were incredibly small, making it very uncomfortable. The bedding also wasn't very clean; I had to use disposable sheets and duvet covers. On the positive side, the service attitude was quite good.

We stayed in a room that could accommodate three people. The extra bed was also comfortable and provided a good night's sleep, which was great. Despite the low price, the round-trip transfer service and breakfast were included, which we really appreciated. However, the refrigerator and air conditioner occasionally made a 'buzzing' sound, which unfortunately woke me up each time.

The room had one large bed and a sofa bed. The staff were patient and friendly. The hotel is just across the road from the beach, so you can take a walk in the morning. However, there was a large, clearly visible yellow stain on the pillow, so remember to bring your own disposable bedding.

Arrived in the Maldives late at night, so we couldn't take a seaplane to the island and had to book a transit hotel for one night. You need to pre-book the airport transfer with the hotel; contacting Trip.com customer service is convenient as they offer Chinese-speaking support. Once you exit the airport, you'll spot a staff member holding a sign who will take you directly to the hotel entrance, so no need to carry your own luggage. However, the accommodation itself is very basic, so it really depends on your personal tolerance.

The duvet and sheets felt a bit old and had a slight, unpleasant smell. The bathroom wasn't well-ventilated and also had a bit of an odor. Soundproofing was decent, probably because there weren't many guests, so no one was next door. The cakes and pasta at the downstairs restaurant were delicious, and the Korean fried chicken was really good – a must-order! Breakfast was also good, with hot Americano coffee available. The beach across the street was a bit dirty. Overall, for a transit hotel, it's pretty much what you'd expect. We waited quite a while for the airport pickup because it was a shared shuttle, which is understandable. The morning drop-off to the airport for our flight to another island was very quick.
