Prairie Hotel

My husband and I have come here for many years for overnight getaway, staycation and special celebrations. It was a bit pricey for the suite with large Jacuzzi tub, but worth it.....You used to be able to just get one night. Now however it is a TWO night minimum. They've jacked up the rates, and I'm pretty upset about it. The hot water isn't as hot anymore as I can only get one fill barely before it runs out of heated water. The T.V. is a pain In the butt to work. Coffee is lousy and the price is insane. I do not like being forced to stay two days either..... I would have in the past given this a five star review, as the room tub and private balcony are great. The beds are so comfy and we've always enjoyed it. However!!! We won't be coming back due to the ridiculous price increase and mandatory two night stay. Very sad to say.... But goodbye Prairie Hotel We won't be back. You've lost two long time customers due to your greed.

Clean room, friendly and helpful staff. Fairly quiet area but near busier streets. Very comfortable room. My biggest appreciation is that no scented products used in laundering sheets and towels. The room felt clean without heavy scented products. I usually travel with my own bedding because of the highly perfumed soaps and detergents often used. One improvement would be a automatic door to entrance. Struggled getting me and belongings in while managing a heavy door. This was my second stay here and will return. Comfy bed and furnishings. Good location to Mt Rainier and hiking. Great paved bike paths. Movie theater very close, easy to walk to. A food co op nearby but small and limited. Safeway also close. Many restaurants but I didn’t notice vegan specific options. Thanks y’all for the good experience! I encountered front desk and cleaning staff who were helpful but can only remember Amy’s name.

This hotel is both cute, clean, and lovely. The service was kind and efficient, and the room was large and spacious. Very close to everything and Yelm, and a great jumping point if you're visiting the area lakes or mount rainier. Would have stayed here longer but they were booked up :-)
