I really enjoyed my stay. They helped me with the transfer to the island, met me upon arrival, and assisted with tours. After fishing, they even cooked the fish I caught! They also helped with the return transfer. The manager was very responsive and helpful. I highly recommend this place.

Firstly, I want to praise Mohammad Nazeer as the manager of Bilimbi. He was fantastic at helping arrange ferry travel to and from Male and Huraa. Not only this he hugely helped with setting up sea excursions and answering any questions I had. He really made my stay in Huraa at Bilimbi as enjoyable and stress free as possible. The Guesthouse I stayed at was the annex as there are two Bilimbi Guesthouses on Huraa. The annex is a short walk from the jetty, shops and places to eat. The room i had as a solo traveller was a ideal. A queen sized bed, air con, enough plug sockets and a decent bathroom all clean. The local breakfast and coffee included was decent to start your day before walking around the island. I agree with the price I paid £148 (booked in December 2025) and I'd suggest staying at Bilimbi if anyone wants to visit Huraa for a couple days.

The price of the guesthouse is reasonable. It provides all necessary facilities. The host Najir and his team are very considerate and helpful. People on this island are really nice. We had a wonderful time there.

A little gem in Huraa island. Najire the manager is really great, doing all he can to accommodate your needs. The guesthouse is in the village, within walking distance to everything. Najire can help organise day trips for you, from as simple as booking a day use at the many luxury resorts nearby (Huraa is a village by a beautiful mangrove - it has so not much else in term of tourist facilities except a few secluded small beaches allocated to tourists and a small number of eateries) to day trips to watch dolphins, surfing, snorkelling or diving. Just ask him and he’ll honestly let you know if he can help or not. Breakfast as mentioned by many is limited. But this is understandable as they have to source everything from Male. It was raining heavily while we were there so we were glad to have great wifi access and Netflix (use yr own account) as we had to stay in a lot. It also helps that the room was spacious and tastefully done. Sorry no photos of the guesthouse but here’s a few from the island

Clean and tidy, the air conditioning was great, but the transportation was a bit complicated; you need to go from the airport to the Male port and then transfer to a speedboat.

I liked the hotel. At the time of booking, it was the cheapest option on Huraa Island. The hotel is conveniently located, bicycles are provided, and breakfast is included. The staff is always available and ready to help. The room includes a refrigerator, kettle, and complimentary drinking water. The island itself is very pretty. There's a nice bikini beach, a dive center, and water activities. It's easily accessible from Male Airport—a 40-minute speedboat ride costs $10.

It's great value for money, very quiet, with a lovely environment, and the breakfast is fantastic. It's very close to the beach, the locals are friendly, and the children are adorable; they gave me lots of little seashells.
