Relaxing walks around the plants and trees Staff was very welcoming Animation team was very friendly...especially taisha and nastya Ping pong area needs improvements Gym is great Volleyball and darts were so fun Lots of services we didn't know about...like ping pong/cinema/gym...the receptionists need to clarify the activities provided Food was very good The outside restraunts are better The hotel is very good

A lovely hotel and a really positive experience. We had a sea view room with a balcony which was excellent. They provide water everyday and there is a fridge and safe in the room. The hotel is big but doesn’t feel overly massive compared to some of the other resorts near by. First impressions very good with the newly refurbished lobby and downstairs area. The hotel has had a brilliant face lift compared to some of the older photos on Trip Advisor. The pools were great and everything was always very clean. The gardens are landscaped beautifully. We spent most of our time by the adult pool which was quiet and had a bar. There are a few other pools which are a bit louder and more for families. The aqua park is good and new because it’s in it own self contained area. Slides for small and big kids/ adults which is fun. The beach is also nice as it’s private, there are plenty of sun-beds and shade. Food wise, we enjoyed the buffet and there are some A La Carte restaurants included in the All Inclusive. These were nice to visit for a change. The food was always very fresh. Breakfast is good at the main buffet and the option of going to the beach restaurant as well. The bars are good. Only local alcohol is part of the All Inclusive but we didn’t have any problems at all, they made nice cocktails and the service was fast. I wish there was another spot by the pool to get ice cream rather than just at the aqua park. We went on a diving excursion where we scuba dived for the first time. This was through the diving centre at the hotel. The trip was a little chaotic but overall very pleased and we felt safe and had fun. The spa could do with a refurbish as the decor and equipment is quite dated and lacking the feeling of luxury. The massages were pricey, almost the same as what it costs in the UK. I had a mani-pedi and a facial at the beauty salon which was nice, but it isn’t particularly luxurious. My partner also had a shave and haircut which he was really pleased with. The staff were nice on the beauty salon. Osama who seems to be the manager, was very good. There could be more things to do in the evening apart from wait until the 9:30 entertainment. We went to a couple of the shows and they were alright. The fire show was the best. It would be good to have more evening beach entertainment e.g. musicians. The animation team are lively and there are several activities you can chose to join throughout the day Disappointed that you have to pay for the tennis court and the crazy golf, explains why nobody else is using them. We just wanted to have a short play to see if we liked it. We visited on the first week of October and we were surprised to be one of the only British guests, the majority of guests were German or Egyptian so we didn’t really get to socialise (just more of an observation and not a criticism). Most of the staff spoke German as well as English and Arabic. You could pay for lots of things in Euros, Pound Sterling or Egyptian Pounds.

We like, hotel! Animacion team very friendly all the time smailing, talking, playing, dancing, it was no boring all week. Rooms it’s ok, clean. Barmens and ather stuff is friendly too, ready to hellp.

Lovely hotel overlooking the Red Sea, with pristine swimming pools stretching across the resort all the way to the the private beach. The best thing we found about the Golden Beach Hotel was their exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. During our stay we were truly looked after by: Hazem and Walid at the reception who promptly resolved any little issues we had; Ali Amer, the lifeguard who was very vigilant and even rescued a family member as being a non-swimmer, they panicked in the pool; the chef Zakariya who went out of his way to prepare us an Egyptian desert Um Ali, that we had been wanting to try since we arrived in Egypt- it was heavenly delicious. Mr Mansoor, the general manager is an asset to your business as he knew how to deal with the guests in the most efficient and considerate manner. 

We had a family room, which was sufficient for 2 adults and 2 children. The rooms had all the amenities and we were informed that they were being upgraded in this season. Our one complaint would be the lack of WiFi in the rooms. 

The grounds and landscaping are well maintained with plenty of seating for couples and families. Many shops and restaurants are dotted around the length of the resort with a couple being open for 24 hours. You can even book breakfast/other meals on the beach and/or one of the other restaurants. The main restaurant that serves the largest variety of food does not require any prior booking. 

The resort is well resourced for children’s activities, including water park, game room, giant chess, active pool, cinema and a theatre with scheduled shows and activities. The staff and facilities in the spa and hammam are nice. We were little disappointed to find out a child of 12 is classified as an adult for booking and payment purpose. 
Overall an amazing hotel and we will be revisiting whenever travelling to Hurghada.

Second time been at this hotel this year so far. It is amazing. Britt the guest relation has been fantastic both of our stays. Will keep returning. Staff are fantastic, food is fantastic couldn’t fault anything about the hotel. Adult only pool brilliant for relaxing. Plenty of water slides for children at the aqua park. Private beach where you can do horse riding in the sea. Hotel has 24 hour food available. Good choice for all tastes and many restaurants. Lots of pools available. So much I could say about how fantastic this place is but you have to experience it to believe how amazing it is.

Today is my first day in the hotel, took too long to check in and room wasn’t ready. Food is not good at all and stuff is asking for tips otherwise they are a bit rude! Beach is shallow but its not too bad, aqua park is really nice but stuff needs to be more friendly

The hotel itself is beautiful, the grounds and greenery are maintained by really friendly staff. The rooms were a bit disappointing. We booked 2 rooms, upon arrival keycards to one room didn’t work and in the room that did work the phone line to reception did not work. We managed to get the card reactive for the room in question- however this happened 3 times throughout our stay which became tedious. The reception staff we found to be unhelpful but all of the other members of staff were very friendly and went out of their way to help us which we were very grateful. We had a slight problem with our neighbouring room - this included smoking within their room which came through the ventilation air con system to our adjoining room. On the first night it happened we were mildly annoyed and informed reception - but this happened 3 nights in a row and although the staff were sympathetic about the awful smell within our room they did not over this 3 day period do more than ask the guests in the room next door to stop what they were doing - I was particularly unwell with the fumes on the 3rd evening it happened and although again the staff were very sympathetic it really was a case of ‘we have told them to stop’ - which in my opinion was just a bit too late. The staff at the beach are lovely and friendly, the beach was lovely and so were the pools which you had multiple options of either wanting a quiet swim or to join in with animation. Rooms - again- they are okay and kept clean very well by the lovely maintenance team but a few things for example grubby unsealed toilet seals let the hotel down a little bit. In addition upon arrival we paid for Wifi in our rooms and it only worked for about 3 mins at a time - we didn’t complain about this because the reception desk seemed to be busy all the time - put it this way I wouldn’t pay for wifi again you can get it free with better quality in reception. Overall - it was an okay trip and the staff in the bars and restaurants were exceptional but the hotel ‘stay’ overall was a bit disorganised and relied heavily on people not complaining.

First of all big thanks for animation team for helping and doing great job everywhere with friendly kind heart and also staff is good and room cleaning is okay and gardens everywhere makes you happy and family area which for sure i will come back again
