Hotel personnels are great. But reception couldn’t find our reservation booked by trip.com. We arrived to hotel at 3 am and we waited until 5 am. Trip.com service called the hotel and helped us finally but reception hold our passports until morning. We don’t think so we will come this hotel and book hotel by trip.com next time. We were using *********** until this reservation and we had no problem ever. Thats why we will not use trip com for hotel booking never

Nothing to laugh about, this resort deserves top marks. From the location to the kindness of all the staff. A proper all-inclusive experience and excellent food.

Review So we arrived at Stella Resort & Spa on the 22nd June 2025 for a week stay. Check in was smooth and the bell boy took us to our room. Along the way the bell boy gave us all the information on where the main features of the hotel were such as the main dining court, the “Al a Carte” restaurants & beach snack bar. This in my opinion was amazing because we knew the layout due to this information. The hotel complex is very large boasting a number of pools and also a lovely pool bar. The hotel is spotless and the staff work very hard in blistering heat to maintain this. There are a vast amount of beds around the various pools and we found no issues in getting beds, even late in the morning. There are large parasols with every two beds which also great as it was very hot. Food. Breakfast- So as you would expect the food is catered along the lines of most hotels around Europe boasting a large amount of fresh fruit, cheese and cold meats. Hot food is also available and you can have your fried eggs freshly made and also omelettes made fresh to your liking. There are two hot plates where you can get these. We always went to Gedo as he is so welcoming and always has a smile and joke with you while he makes your order for you. We love you Gedo, please never change. Lunch- Now you can either go to the snack bar located on the beach end of the resort where you can have chips, pizza, burgers and fresh fruit. We found the food here very good. You can also go to the main dining area where there is more of a selection such as freshly cooked meats both warm and cold on offer. The dining area is air conditioned which offers a lovely break from the heat while you dine. Evening Meal- Again plenty to choose from at the main dining court and we had no complaints regarding the food, it was all lovely. As we were staying for a week we had the ability to choose to dine in one of the four “Al a Carte” restaurants:- Italian,Indian, Lebanese or Chinese. Now the Italian and the Indian are situated on the Resort & Spa side of the complex and the Lebanese & Chinese are on the Stella Gardens side of the complex. You get to dine at two of these restaurants during your week stay and you simply book through reception. We chose the Italian and the Indian and both visits were 10 out of 10. The food and service were fantastic. If you do want to go to the Gardens side of the complex there is a regular shuttle bus you can use. Although we never went to the Gardens side of the complex we did have good reviews from other people we met. Hotel Pool Side Staff. Amazing is all I can say! We got to know many of the staff who are very courteous and welcoming. We particularly got to know “Shady & John” who were the two that were allocated our area of the pool. They were brilliant and regularly came past asking if we needed fresh drinks of which they would bring to you. Thankyou both so very much, you really enhanced our holiday experience. Fantastic relaxing and fun family holiday. Facilities were great, food variety was good and tasty. Furthermore the freedom from biting insects was priceless. Beach lovely but the sea is a 380 metre walk away from it. While we ate well and drank bottled water, half our party suffered upset stomach for the majority of our holiday. The vastbmajority of staff were friendly and competent. Oddly, the reception staff were a stark exception, displaying no focus on customer service at all. As an example (there were many) it is understood that Egyptians prefer to receive foreign currency. Therefore it was avoidably annoying each time the reception staff provided a price for a service/product in Euros, then charged for the service US dollars . Multiple reception staff seemed not to recognise these currencies as different or care what poor service their behaviour represent, even when it was explained to them. Reception staff would be better selected for their linguistic skills and empathy, as the latter was absent in contrast to the staff everywhere else at this fabulous resort.

Left yesterday and couldnt wait to write a very deserved review, we have had the most amazing time, the hotel is so beautiful, its spotless with such beautiful gardens, and within metres of the beach and gorgeous waters full of marine life, theres everything for every age. The pools are so warm and there is always beds available anytime of the day. The cleaners work so hard and always have a smile and we looked forward every day to find what towel animal they would make on the beds, they were so funny. The staff are a credit to Orient and make the holiday so special. The pool bar staff and the annimation team are just awesome and have something for everybody all day everyday, the foam party and colour festival are great. Big shout out to Maradonna, Katya, Ahmed and gang who filled our holiday with so much fun but also gave us time to relax and enjoy our holiday too. The food is international and delicious , you will never struggle to find something enjoyable, the waiter service from Mohamed Atia was exceptional, he was so kind and friendly and made and made our week especially my daughter who he would make funny drinks for. The Italian is excellent and a beautiful place to eat. Even the higher management Mr Gabr who looks after both hotels makes time for everyone and is around the pool daily ensuring guests are getting the best service . There were guests from Germany , Russia, England & Wales and the whole experience is aimed at everyone and so no one feels overwhelmed and no one was rude or loud or getting any better service than another, they all just enjoyed themselves . The managment also end the week with a private cocktail party and canapes for the guests leaving the next day which is a lovely touch. We cant thankyou all enough for making our stay so special, we left last night and have already booked to return again. Would 1000% recommend to everyone See you soon Stella xxx

We have recently returned from a week here. It was booked for a week of winter sun and simply to relax. The temperatures were low 20s all week with a couple of windy days. If you want to sunbathe, realistically you are only doing so between 11 & 4 at best in January. The description says this hotel has 5 bars… it does - 2 swim up bars, 2 beach bars and one bar in the hotel. Of an evening the only bar available is the one in the hotel which sadly had football on every night. Pools were freezing so we avoided. Others we met said the sea was warm but we didn’t venture in. The grounds of the hotel are massive and immaculate. All rooms are in various buildings within the extensive grounds and on ground, first or second floor. Please note there are no lifts. The beach was lovely and very popular. A walk along the pier was breezy but nice and there were lots of folk snorkelling off the pier. The hotel was refurbished in 2024 and our room was lovely and in very good condition. Our cleaner , Hassan (we stayed in room 4125) was very friendly and helpful. We had different and impressive towel art as well as a spotless room each day. Food in the resort was mediocre… queues at the snack bar at the beach were long and choices which were served to you were limited. The pasta was tasteless and not at all worth the bother. The main restaurant seemed small for the size of hotel and on occasion took time to find a table. I can only imagine how difficult that would be in the height of summer when the hotel is busier. Restaurant staff didn’t seem to be concerned if you were wandering about looking for a table - they were quite happy to stand about chatting watching you. (We observed a lot of this!!). The entertainment was WOEFUL - there is simply no other word for it. The team clearly couldn’t be bothered and were more interested in flirting with each other and having a carry on than interacting with guests. Even at the kids’ mini disco their efforts were pathetic! The entertainment team would simply walk by you without so much as a hello - even if you spoke to them!! One of them told us she was bored of Egypt and our resort!! We watched one show - a 20 min fire show with one performer. The lager and red wine were palatable, but lower percentage than uk. We felt that although the waiting staff quickly brought you drinks they weee always expecting to be tipped. We do tip but we felt that they were always looking for it! For a supposed four star hotel this is sadly lacking. The hotel has loads of potential but is not disappointing as it is. All of the hotels in the area seem to be very self contained with nothing outside of the resorts so nowhere else to go. Well didn’t manage to book either a la carte as there was no availability when we were there. We will not return. Food is mediocre, entertainment woeful and overall just boring. Our stay at Stella Beach was made perfect from the amazing service and staff to the range of activities available for all guests. We loved our week at the resort, and I will 1000% be back again! The highlights were definitely moments spent during the day with activities on the beach, and also the evening entertainment every night. A huge thank you from us to Hatem for making our stay so much more special, and we hope to see him and the rest of the Stella staff again soon! Thank you x

Amazing activities, so much fun! Yoga and Zumba classes instructors were so much fun and the instructors were great! Staff are awesome, feels like being in a family party

The hotel is very good. The food is good. The pool is warm. The evening activities are well organized and fun. The rooms are clean and tidy everyday.

Very nice hotel. Very nice staff, programs in the evening. Lots of choices for food. Really love the afternoon yoga. :))
