When I got there I was charged a deposit fee which I don't remember reading about when I made my reservation. I was told it would be refunded within 5 days after my stay, but this was still an inconvenience that I did not know to plan for.
My first room was dirty. When I walked in, the refrigerator was left open. There was still small pieces of trash on the floor and on the desk. The counters had greasy looking smudges on them. There were no clean towels in the room. I asked for a new room.
On the first morning of my two day stay, the breakfast there was rock hard biscuit, gravy, and potatoes. The lids covering the food also looked filthy. There was a waffle maker, but none of the plates were big enough for the waffles.
On the second morning, the steamer that held the biscuits, gravy and potatoes the previous morning were empty. Once again, no plates big enough to hold the waffle. My only option was a single packet of peanut butter, two donuts, and a slice of bread. When I asked if more food would be put out, I was told that was it. This was an hour and a half before they ceased serving breakfast.
Yes, it is a cheap hotel, but they don't truly offer what they promise in the description.
