Sheraton Huzhou Taihu Lake Hot Spring Resort & Spa

Traveling to Huzhou with my parents, our stay at the Sheraton Huzhou Hot Spring Resort was filled with warmth and delightful surprises. A special thank you goes to our thoughtful and attentive butler, Lucy, who provided meticulous care and concern from check-in to check-out. Upon learning that we were traveling with elderly parents and celebrating a family birthday, Lucy proactively upgraded us from a Lake View Family Room to a spacious Lake View Suite, ensuring my parents had a more comfortable and relaxing stay. What was even more touching was that she specially prepared a birthday cake and decorated the room beautifully. The surprise and warmth in that moment deeply moved my family. Lucy's dedication and professionalism added a special touch to our Huzhou trip, leaving us with a profound and wonderful impression of the Sheraton Huzhou.

The environment here is quite beautiful and comfortable, giving off a warm and peaceful vibe. The hotel's exterior has a strong three-dimensional feel, and the balconies are super spacious, making it perfect for a vacation! There are plenty of amenities and attractions nearby too.

During the New Year's Day holiday, the hotel was swarming with guests. We arrived at 1 PM but couldn't check into our room until 3:30 PM. They initially said the room wasn't ready, but it turned out the direct drinking water system was broken, and maintenance staff were working on it. Even after we got into the room, it still wasn't fixed, so the hotel provided us with plenty of bottled water instead. The room facilities themselves were quite good. However, the hotel's exterior was very dirty and poorly maintained, which unfortunately detracted from the overall check-in experience. The hotel mattress was comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The bedding was also just right – not too thick, not too thin – so even with the air conditioning on, it felt pleasant. 👍 We went for breakfast past 8 AM and were surprised to find a very long queue. Luckily, everyone lined up in an orderly fashion. Improving service is key; while the hardware is good, the software (service) needs to be even better.

Easy parking with a Tesla Supercharger station available. I tried both the hotel's hot springs and SPA, and the hot springs were incredibly comfortable, featuring various therapeutic pools ranging from 36-42 degrees Celsius. The night view was also lovely, and all the necessary facilities were present. I'll definitely come again!

The hotel offers a dazzling night view, situated right in the middle of Taihu Lake. A stay here isn't just about sleeping; it's about a exquisite breakfast that awakens your taste buds in the morning, a lazy reading nook bathed in afternoon sun, and a spa session that soothes your body and mind as night falls. The experience was absolutely wonderful.
