Skyr was a very nice stay with friendly staff and a very quaint, tasty restaurant. A full breakfast was provided in the morning. Room was comfortable and super cute! The hotel is close to many other stores and restaurants in the area as well. Great place to stop along a drive to the south coast or back to Reykjavik.

Great value, close to Reykjavik located in a small town. Geothermal park is located walking distance from this motel Price very reaonable compared to Reykjavik prices. Small motel type guesthouse located away from highway near centre of town in quiet area. Rooms have private bathrooms despite being listed as a guesthouse. Kettle and coffee/tea provided in room. Fridge also in room. Microwave in lobby. Bonus (the grocery store with the pig logo) is about 8 blocks away. Enjoyed stay so much we extended from one to three days.
