Inn at Bellefield / Hyde Park

I really enjoyed my stay at the Inn at Bellefield. The room was modern, spacious, and very comfortable. The location is convenient for exploring Hyde Park and nearby attractions. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the overall atmosphere was calm and welcoming. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

This hotel is very beautiful and quiet. Our room was amazing: the kitchen had a full refrigerator, the sitting area was very comfortable, and the bed was one of the best I've slept in at a hotel. I only wish that the shower in the bathroom had a full door rather than a half glass wall. No matter what you do, the water gets out and it's hard to stay warm without a closing door. I didn't care for the restaurant very much, but the rest of the hotel was wonderful. The exercise room is extremely well-equipped for those who want to get a workout in while traveling.

The eggs and sausage in the breakfast buffet were COLD, not lukewarm, but cold. There was only one ice machine in the whole building, near to lobby. Only one of the 2 elevators was working. When I mentioned that the cover for the peep hole in the room's door would not close, I was met with a totally blank stare. Room was nice and very clean. Could have used more than one teabag.

Very friendly and helpful staff. I had some trouble with the key card for the door to my room and the front desk person came up and helped me.

The first room I was in, was perfect except for the broken fridge. We had to move into the room next door because in there, the fridge worked but the room looked smaller and the drawers were dirty with stains and hair. The shower had half a door so there was water going onto the floor. The temperature kept changing from extremely hot to cold. The thermostat did not work well. The first room had better heating when it was set to 75 but in the second room, it was still cold at 75 degrees. I didn’t want to cause more trouble for the staff since Michael helped with the room change, probably not knowing the second room was bad. The breakfast staff were so nice to me. I think it was Salim who kept checking in to see if we were ok and gave me a to go box. There was an issue with my credit card where they couldn’t charge my credit card. When I called Chase, they stated the hotel didn’t enter in the pin and that’s why the charge declined. I had to use another card to pay which frustrated me. Overall, the hotel looks very nice but there were so many issues.

Spotless room, great complimentary breakfast, only thing this hotel is missing is a pool to make it a 10/10. Would & will definitely stay again.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially the front desk staff and one of the gentlemen providing the breakfast service. The hotel is beautiful and warm and inviting. The hotel room was spacious. The hotel is close to shopping and eateries. The only thing that stopped me from giving it a 5 was the lack of housekeeping service. It was supposed to be every other day and on the 3 day no one came so I requested the room to be cleaned and asked the front desk personnel twice and plus a housekeeping personnel. We took time to prepare for the cleaning and took our dogs out for hours and came back and the room still hadn't been cleaned. Then I had to take time to speak with two other people to get the room cleaned. It rained that following day and we had to take our dogs out in the rain for the room to be cleaned. It put a damper on our vacation getting bathroom tissue and other essentials from the front desk and throwing out the garbage, because of the lack of housekeeping and then having to plan for housekeeping on a rainy day and having to speak with four people to get it done. That part didn't feel like a vacation. Outside of that it was a great stay and I would recommend it.

Everything was new, fresh and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay at Inn at Bellefield again.

Hotel was very nice. Room was very clean and comfortable. Spacious lobby. Great buffet breakfast. Staff was very cordial
