Omeesha Beach Hotel Reviews

Not Recommended for Families or Groups Our experience at Omeesha Beach Hotel was disappointing. They were dishonest in multiple ways: 1. Misleading Room Assignments: We were shown beachside rooms but half of our group was sent to a hotel nearly 1 km away, which was incredibly inconvenient. 2. Reusing Plastic Bottles: It was evident that they reused pet bottles for serving water, which raised serious hygiene concerns. Such practices are unacceptable, especially for a place advertised as a quality destination. Families and groups should avoid this hotel to prevent similar issues.

This was our first night after flying to Sri Lanka so we were not aware what to expect. The staff were lovely the location very close to the beach was nice, first thing you will see is massive wind generators some people moaned that the noise kept them awake for us we did not notice them, the sea roar was louder. The place had a good restruant and bar. As we were soon to learn every hotel is very tired not like what you get in Europe, but then you don't pay the same prices. We can't comment on much as my parter was unwell the first day and we were very jet lagged.

Lovely, tranquil & friendly hotel run by a very welcoming couple. The food was superb & the helpfulness of the staff outstanding. There was a wide range of food available for breakfast, including local fruit. The outdoor shower was a very appealing feature. We thoroughly recommend this hotel.

We stayed 2 nights and enjoyed our stay very much. Clean and comfortable rooms, wonderful beach, excellent kitchen. The breakfast was gorgeous, the dinner fantastic and the cocktails served on the beach marvellous! The hosts are very charming. Will come back again!

Difficult to find more attentive hosts: Keerthi and Mani are fantastic, also their well trained staff. Delightful meals on the elevated beach restaurant, the awesome dolphin tour. They have done their utmost to create a relaxed, laid back atmosphere. Your wish is their command. We weren’t disturbed by the windmills taking care of electricity.. Thank you once again. Jet&Paul

Calm area, perfect for relaxing, calm sea, nice food & drinks (amazing fresh juices), large & delicious breakfast (amazing coconut pancakes). Very nice & helpful staff. And of course, great dolphins tour! Recommended to everyone! :))))

Very high prices for mediocre hotel. Wifi is not working, alot of bugs in the room and bathroom. On the beach alot of mosquitos you cant even stay there in the evening. The host is lieing on reviews. Avoid at all cost, there are so many good places with good people in Sri Lanka

Friendly people, we were received with a welcome drink. It is a nice place to be right on your own beautiful clean beach. Saw a beautiful sunset. As a bonus, the owner alerted us to young turtles that had just hatched and were running to the sea! We also had a delicious dinner and breakfast. 

We spent 4 relaxing days in a beautiful standalone cabana. Dolphin watching or snorcheling tours available on the spot. The beach restaurant was the best we've met on our Sri Lanka trip (tasty, large choice, portions). Super friendly staff.

They said they had buffet but there were no buffet Had a lime juice . Itz just water . One of over family member got sick after having food from this place . No water The wash was smelly Worst place i have ever been to..

Piękna plaża, bardzo miła i pomocna obsługa. Czyste pokoje. Klimatyzacja. Bardzo miłe spędzony czas. Zobaczyliśmy wykluwające się żółwie. Śmiało możemy polecić to miejsce. Dbali o nas i o nasz dzieci. Dania robione pod nasze preferencje.
