If you’re considering booking your stay at this place, please DONT!!! This is the friendly advice I wish I had received before. It was the worst experience I’ve ever had at a hotel and totally not worth the price. We had a reservation there booked months ago, got a taxi from central London to the suburbs where it’s located, just to arrive there and be informed that EVERY SINGLE room in the hotel was working perfectly, except for ours, which was in renovations, and yet no one made a single attempt to let us know in advance. They could have reached us by email or by phone, so we would save our time from going there. The receptionist was extremely rude, unprofessional and made it very clear that she wouldn’t help us and couldn’t place us in another bedroom because it was fully booked. She wasn’t willing to give the manager’s contact either since it was on the weekend and they would be unavailable. When I mentioned that they could have told me in advance, she simply said that she’s not the only worker there and she’s not responsible for what the others do in their shifts. Completely indifferent to the situation. Of course that a prepayment is required when you make the reservation, but besides that, a security deposit of 100 pounds is also requested once you arrive, even if there is no information about it in the website. The only solution found for us was to replace us to another hotel from the same chain, because refunding us was not allowed either. So we were obligated to sleep in a hotel we didn’t choose and still the receptionist never, at any point, apologized for the inconvenient. Surely don’t recommend this hotel.
