Credit where it’s due—every single employee I had contact with was amazing. But the grounds were built more the apocalypse than a relaxing refreshing time. Gates with tire spike *****s and welded spikes on the metal gate itself. Pool bathrooms padlocked day and night. View consists of parking lots and dated stucco buildings. Unit has ancient gum on carpets, crumbled particleboard cupboards, saggy beds, no natural light. Finally, RCI says this place has tennis, but it very much does NOT. You will be locked out of the tennis courts and cannot even pay a day fee to play. It’s a shame.

We were looking forward to a restful time in Indio. We had issues from the start. The unit was very run down and needs a major upgrade. The Wi-Fi is atrocious. The gate access was a joke. First it was there is a camera system that recognizes your license plate, Wrong, then it is, here is a key card that will work at any gate, wrong. The unit was to be cleaned twice that week. Well if we hadn't gone down to ask about it, that wouldn't happen. So I totally recommend not ever staying at Indian Palms.

Stayed in a 2 bedroom for a week. The stay itself was good. Beds were comfortable, pillows not bad, one bathroom, though we made it work. The kitchen was well equipped. Nice dining space. A bit dated by I'm not overly fussy. Not enough parking in front of the unit. We had one member in our party in a wheelchair/crutches, and we couldn't get a spot in front of our own room. It was a bit annoying to have to park down the street. It wasn't far, but it would have been nice to park in what I thought should be our spot (at our door). The staff are friendly and helpful. Don't forget to ask for a gate transponder. it makes it easier to get in and out. Pools are a nice temperature. Hot tubs were nice, too. Though one evening, we couldn't get the jets to work. And another afternoon, the hot tub by the laundry was freezing and dirty. I let the office know, not sure when or if it got fixed as we went out. The laundry room is tidy. Machines use an app to pay, which is handy and annoying at the same time. Would stay here again, as none of the annoyances are deal breakers for us.

The place wasn’t what I’d call accurately described, but at least it was clean enough and the pool being close by was nice for a quick morning swim. Too expensive for what it is.

Booked this spot through RCI for a friend’s wedding and it was decently situation. This would be a really good spot for Coachella. The way in was a little confusing, but essentially, once you put in the address on Google maps you’re taken to the entrance with a guard station. From there, you can put in directions for the Indian Palms Vacation Club main office, and that’s where you’ll check in/can navigate how to get to your unit from there. I was in a space that could hold up to 6 people and the 5 of us fit okay. There was one king bed, two twins, and a pullout couch that was a full size. They didn’t clean our rooms during the 3 days we were there as they only come on certain days during the week. Free parking but you’re limited to two passes. Limit one for the transponder and if you lose it, it’s a $250 fee. There is a kitchen and it has a fridge/microwave/dishwasher. There is a hairdryer in the cabinet. All the bedrooms were located upstairs. The gated community it’s located in is very quiet. We couldn’t quite figure out how to work the coffee machine and there’s no water filter but there were supermarkets/a target close by. There’s only one bathroom with a shower; the downstairs one didn’t have one. There is a pool and hot tub nearby. Overall, it’s a decent place to sleep.

Not what I was expecting. I am staying here for a week and am not impressed. $25 per day resort fee yet this is NO resort. No private balcony, the outside area from the back of the room is shared with the residents and other guests. Pool is small. No fitness center, no rec room, no sauna. Internet doesn't reach our room and we can't connect any devices. Nothing that really equates this to a resort except for the little signs in the room saying you're at a hotel. Otherwise it feels like an airbnb. Office is only open til 5pm and they don't forward their phones so if you call after hours it just rings and rings. (My check in information didn't show their other on call number) Upon arrival the front gate security said there's no hotel here and to just drive around to the back and hope i find it. Sounds good. So what are we paying an additional $175 for??? You can't even order supplies for your room after 3pm. After that it's "emergencies only". THE RESORT FEE IS A JOKE BC WHAT AM I EVEN GETTING THAT IS ANYTHING RESORT LIKE?????? NEVER COMING BACK.

THIS IS NOT A RESORT AND A RESORT FEE SHOULD NOT BE CHARGED. This company rents out some of the townhouse style units within this complex. People live here. Contractors who park trucks in the complex are hanging out at pool smoking crack. Families with 10+ people and kids bombarded pool constantly. Unit was okay, but complex is not very nice. Feels like a low income housing complex. Never again.

The surrounding area looks a little bit like section 8 towards the back. Also, the pool is very loud and there was a lot of people and the furniture inside. The condo is very cheap and uncomfortable.
