The only downside was that the hotel has central heating, and the in-room air conditioning couldn't be controlled, so it always felt quite warm."

"The hotel's location is quite lively, very close to attractions like Canton Tower. We booked a suite, and the duty manager upgraded us, which made for a great stay. The next day, our child wasn't feeling well, and the restaurant staff kindly packed some congee for us. The front desk was very considerate and helped us extend our check-out time until 4 PM, allowing our child to get some much-needed sleep in the room."

"Overall, it was excellent. The hotel has a sophisticated feel with brand-new decor, and the experience was great. The attention to detail in their hotel products is truly commendable. The soundproofing was also generally good; unlike other hotels where you can hear the toilet flush next door, there were no such noise issues, which I appreciated. However, there's one small point of criticism, which might be a necessary design choice for the hotel. We found two locked doors in our room with handles, seemingly connecting to the adjacent room. At night, while sleeping, we heard someone twisting the doorknob and knocking from the room next door, which disturbed us. It's quite bizarre, and honestly, this door created a flaw in the soundproofing. It was a frustrating and unacceptable discovery after checking into a Four Seasons hotel. Is this design mandatory? Is it for safety? It's hard to understand. Nevertheless, I'm still willing to give it a 5-star rating; everything else was impeccable."

Located just a 15-minute drive from the Guangzhou South High-Speed Railway Station, the resort offers both convenience and tranquility—a rare combination in the city. Nestled beside a beautiful mountain, the atmosphere is peaceful and refreshing, with breathtaking views that invite you to unwind or even go hiking right from the property. The minimalistic interior design perfectly balances modern elegance and comfort, creating a calming space that instantly puts you at ease. One of the highlights of my stay was the outdoor bathtub in our room, which provided the most relaxing experience under the stars. The resort’s pool is also wonderful—spacious, well-maintained, and surrounded by nature. Dining was another memorable part of the experience. I tried both the Chinese restaurant and the Western dining options, and both exceeded expectations in taste and presentation. Every dish was beautifully crafted and full of flavor. What truly stood out, however, was the exceptional service. The staff were attentive, friendly, and went out of their way to make our stay special. Situated at the base of Baiyun Mountain, it's only about a 20-minute drive from the Tianhe central district, with smooth access whether by taxi or private car. Having previously served as a government reception base, it offers exceptional privacy and security. It's wonderfully tranquil, making it ideal for guests or business travelers seeking complete relaxation. 3. **Spacious Rooms, Expansive Views:** Our lake-view room was very spacious with a practical layout. The absolute highlight was the large balcony directly overlooking the lake and distant mountains – the view was absolutely stunning! Just sitting on the balcony chair, sipping tea and enjoying the scenery, felt incredibly therapeutic and rejuvenating. While the room amenities might not be the most cutting-edge, they are well-maintained, spotlessly clean, and the bedding is wonderfully comfortable. 4. **Friendly and Attentive Staff:** From the moment we arrived, greeted by the concierge, to check-in at the front desk, and interactions with restaurant staff, everyone we encountered was extremely polite, proactive in greeting us, and quick to respond to requests. You can truly feel the high standard of service, a legacy of its past as a state guesthouse. 5. **Excellent Facilities:** The grounds boast tennis courts, a swimming pool (unfortunately closed due to cold weather during our visit), a gym, and more. "Staying at the Park Hyatt Guangzhou was a fantastic experience, largely thanks to our butler, Zero. He contacted us a day in advance and paid attention to every detail, making us feel truly valued. His professionalism and warmth made for an excellent stay! There was a minor hiccup with the A/C not heating properly, but it was resolved quickly. He even brought us red bean soup in the evening (next time, I'd suggest including an extra bowl!)."
