"Extended my stay for another day. It's all about comfort and good vibes. Now I'm back in mainland China. The hotel is super convenient; Tsuen Wan West MTR station is only about 300 meters away. From there, I took the Tuen Ma Line three stops to Austin, then directly through customs to catch the high-speed rail back to mainland China (Hong Kong West Kowloon - Shenzhen North Station). So quick and easy! The front desk lady even helped me with my small request to extend my check-out by an hour. Thumbs up! Very much like a Hong Kong lady!"

"Slept soundly the first night, no issues. But on the second night, I wore the hotel's bathrobe and woke up in the middle of the night itching in my dream. I thought it was mosquito bites, four bumps on my arm, one on my neck, and then three on my back, incredibly itchy. Woke up in the morning with a red lump... already bitten... I'm a bit speechless. How could such a high-end hotel have fleas? ...All the bumps were scratched open..."

Hotel near Hung Hom and Kowloon City,Hong Kong
Once home to Hong Kong’s first international airport, Kai Tak has transformed into a vibrant social hub. Dorsett Kai Tak offers stunning views of Victoria Harbour and is adjacent to the new 50,000-seat Kai Tak Sports Park, hosting major events and concerts. The hotel is located a 35-minute drive from Hong Kong International Airport. Catering to both leisure and business travelers, the 373-room Dorsett Kai Tak features interconnecting suites, two luxury suites with private terraces, and the Presidential Harbour View Pool Suite with a 10m lap pool. Hotel amenities include a sky bar, Spanish-Sichuan all-day restaurant Siete Ocho, a rooftop infinity pool, a 100-square-meter fitness center, and a grand ballroom with double-height ceilings.

"Overall, my stay was quite good. The biggest flaw in the entire room was the bathroom not having a wet/dry separation! When showering, water consistently overflowed throughout the entire bathroom and even seeped onto the room's floor, making it slippery. This led to me slipping and falling during my shower, injuring my knees and arms. The subsequent handling of the incident showcased the hotel's inconsistent service quality. Initially, I spoke with Manager Wu for a resolution. Not only did she fail to help me, but she also told me that if I went to the hospital for a check-up and requested a refund, they would not assist me with a room change. Her way of handling the issue was truly disheartening. What I wanted was for the wet/dry separation problem to be resolved, because the core issue isn't about a refund, but about my safety. If it's not addressed and I slip again, leading to a secondary injury, the situation would be far more serious. Later, Manager Guo took over. After understanding my situation, he immediately upgraded our room to one with a wet/dry separated bathroom and arranged for staff to help move my luggage to the new room. His service attitude is highly commendable. Furthermore, the service attitudes of the hotel's front desk, restaurant, and housekeeping staff are also commendable. Especially Coco, upon learning about my old knee injury and fear of slipping, helped clean the bathroom floor and provided me with towels. Because my son is a DSE candidate this year, the restaurant staff went above and beyond to help him with his exams, including providing daily breakfast takeaways and a travel adapter at the restaurant. Overall, the service attitude is praiseworthy, but I hope the hotel strengthens its service attitude training for all staff to ensure everyone provides a high standard of service to guests. Moreover, I hope the hotel can promptly address the issue of non-separated wet/dry bathrooms to ensure guests' safety and experience during their stay."

"I originally booked a twin room, but the front desk staff upgraded me to a room on the 20th floor in the West Wing. The view from the window, as shown in the picture, was pretty good, so I extended my stay. When I checked in, I spoke Cantonese with the staff member, and when I checked out, I spoke Mandarin with the female staff at the front desk. Both interactions were smooth, and everyone was very polite. The reading area outside the front desk has a great view, but unfortunately, I was too rushed during my stay to enjoy it. The hotel is located in North Point, which is a bustling area with many restaurants. On my last day, I used the complimentary food voucher for the 'Explore North Point - Explorer Set' to try the egg waffle shop. They were delicious and easy to redeem. It's a shame I went too late, as the other places had already closed. If you plan to use the vouchers, it's best to go earlier. The hotel is also very close to the MTR station, less than a hundred meters from North Point Exit A1."

"The hotel isn't far from the airport and it's quite new. The front desk service was fantastic! The bellboy was incredibly handsome! I heard some guests say he might be Korean and doesn't speak Chinese, but he's so good-looking! Hahaha. It's best to take the free hotel shuttle, as taxis from the airport are still very expensive! We stayed here for a layover and it felt really comfortable! For dining, I recommend staying in the hotel, especially for breakfast! Because the cha chaan teng across the street was really expensive and not good, and the steak restaurant was also not tasty. The hotel's buffet breakfast, however, was excellent!"

"It's been a while since I last stayed in a hotel in Hong Kong, and I'm quite disappointed. The check-in service was actually good by Hong Kong standards (those familiar with Hong Kong service will understand). However, the first room I was assigned had an odd smell, there were unidentifiable hairs around the carpet, and the chair was worn out... That really made a bad first impression. I then switched to a second room, and the carpets along the way were visibly not very clean. Perhaps I've stayed in Macau hotels more often; any brand hotel in Macau is always very clean and reassuring. These points combined made my stay feel very uncomfortable. This hotel is indeed very suitable for families with children, offering a swimming pool, a splash pool, and a kids' club (HKD 110 per hour). The breakfast was also good. The main draw of this hotel for me initially was the unbeatable sea view from the room! However, I do have a small suggestion: the curtains in the guest rooms let in light, so you'll be woken up by glaring light around 6 or 7 in the morning."

"For Hong Kong, the room was quite spacious. The breakfast was excellent with a good variety of options. The facilities were decent, and the bathroom was also a good size. The transportation was incredibly convenient, with a 'Ding Ding' tram stop right outside the door. Taking the tram for a ride around town was a fun experience, like taking an old-fashioned bus. The surrounding area was also very lively, with plenty of restaurants and snack places, and shopping was easy. In short, it had everything you could ask for in terms of food, drink, and entertainment – pretty good overall. The only downside was having to pay for the two bottles of mineral water from the fridge, which felt a bit off. Other star-rated hotels usually provide complimentary mineral water. After a long journey, having a bottle of water as soon as you enter the room is often much needed, especially when it's hot. Having to pay for water like that just doesn't feel right."
