"I was with one of my friends to spend our last day in Ko Tao, and the best thing was the swimming pool without discussion. As I read before booking it, the breakfast (250 Bahts) is one of the best things too (but we didnt try it). Also they have yoga coasses that you can attend if you pay 300 bahts (really convenient if you wanna see the sunrise). The experience was incredible, but if the price of the resort doesn’t have a discount, we would consider other option."

"The hotel isn't brand new, but the rooms are spacious. We had a room with a balcony and a sea view, complete with a daybed, which was a fantastic feature. It's located on the other side of the pier. While there's a shuttle service, we preferred renting a scooter to get around. Breakfast was pretty standard and could get quite crowded. The beach is gorgeous, and they offer complimentary kayaks for guests. They also have three excellent swimming pools. Overall, we were satisfied with our two-day stay."

"A wonderful place for recreation 🫶 lived 2 families from 25 to 30 December in the smallest villa, all this time with us were wonderful Steve and Muhammad. Steve took us all over the island wherever we wanted and took us from anywhere, thank you Steve 🙏Muhammed also took care that our rest was careless, helped to organize the washing, Organized us a tour to the sea 🙏ville clean every day, there is everything necessary for cooking food (we did not prepare TK on the sairi a lot of delicious cafes). I definitely recommend this place for rest, very atmospheric and comfortable, in the surrounding jungle ❤️"

"If we come to KhoTao again, we will definitely stay at this hotel! Very beautiful hotel grounds, away from the noisy streets, but within walking distance. Lots of greenery, birds singing, just a tropical paradise); room cleaning every day, no need to ask anyone about it; you can order not only breakfasts but also lunches and dinners to your room (there are 2 menus from different restaurants in the room); very comfortable bed; panoramic windows overlooking palm trees, you wake up, open your eyes, and see :🌴; the cleanest and private pool with different depths, surrounded by the tropics, I still miss it and remember how good it was there.. There is also a transfer, we did not use it, but it is there. When the ferry arrives, to the left of the pier there will be guys with signs with the names of the hotels, look for Woodlawn Village. I give this hotel 11 out of 10 ❤️"

"Cape Shark Villas is a complex of villas with hotel service (daily cleaning, free scheduled transfer to the pier, food ordering to the room). We stayed at C1 Deluxe Villa (with a pool), 6 people. The accommodation was in two buildings - the main villa C1 (with two bedrooms, a gazebo, a veranda and a pool) and the guest house C1 nearby. The villa is located next to the reception - convenient when moving around the island by taxi or by hotel transfer. You can walk down to the sea in 3-5 minutes, but the climb back is quite steep. If you travel by bike, then the location on the mountain has only advantages! Excellent views, quiet and amazing privacy with nature! A squirrel, a crab, a small snake and a charming large gecko lived next to us. At first, such a neighborhood was a little shocking, but in 3 days we became friends with them. No need to be afraid - these are additional emotions and memories. Overall, we liked the villa, it was comfortable, clean and at the same time very colorful. Wherever you look, there is a great angle for a photo shoot. We will be happy to stay here next time. Of the minuses - only one bedroom has a sea view and in October there was a warm pool."

"I stayed 5 days in The blue villa in Over The Moon. The location is great on a hillside overlooking the main bay and treetops. The Blue villa is decorated in a very nice and tasteful way with all modern amenities available. All is kept well and maintained and clean. Breakfast can be ordered by phone in restaurants nearby. The place is perfect for travelers who want luxury of a hotel but have their private time and space. Perfect for relaxing. Thanks to Giovanni and his team."

"There is so much to say but I will try to be as concise as possible. Ecotao Lodge is a piece of heaven. The hotel is superb, the whole idea that is an ecological establishment run by a family it makes it all worthwhile. The hotel is simple and yet mesmerising. It is very green, the swimming pool area is breathtaking with views to nature and the sea. My husband and I went to Koh Tao for 3 days so we booked two nights at Ecotao Lodge. We decided to treat ourselves so we went for the suite. When we were taken to our room, we spent at least 30 minutes just sitting there in the balcony and bed, looking at the sea. The view was one of the best I have had the opportunity to see. The room was immaculate and with all the commodities one need. We were provided with hand made shower gel, shampoo and conditioner! It is incredible that this hotel has been open only since December 2019. Yves, the owner, runs the hotel along with his friend and staff. What a wonderful man, passionate about the service he offers, always with a smile. Chris, his friend, always there greeting you in the mornings also with a genuine interest to make sure you are well. The staff are so lovely, smiling all the time with the Thai attitude that is so warm about them. As I said, we were there for two nights... Initially that is. After our first night, we were so in love with the place, the atmosphere and the service that we decided to extend our stay for 4 more nights. I could have stayed even more to be honest but sadly I had to carry on with my travelling plans. Yves, Chris and his staff made us feel like a family! I can't wait to go back next year, even for a few days to stay in this little paradise. Bt the way... The food they serve!!!! OMG!!! It is succulent, balanced, fresh... It is just the best. Loved so many dishes I tried but I couldn't let a day pass without having the spring rolls! Hehehehe. Thank you Yves, Chris and your lovely staff (I feel so bad I forgot their names, they were all outstanding). "

"The hotel is located away from restaurants, shops and other things. It is quiet, the area is beautiful, the views of the pool, palm trees and the sea from the window are impressive. You need to get here by bike or car. The room is quite comfortable, there is a restaurant. During our stay, the kitchen was being renovated during the day, so for lunch they only offered 1 type of sandwiches, nuggets and French fries. But the evening dinners compensated for everything. There is a descent to the sea, and then a rather difficult climb (plus a lot of mosquitoes). For us, it was bearable and good cardio. For less mobile people it will be difficult. But the sea in this part of the island in May is excellent. Lots of fish and live corals. I did not see any sharks here. They are on Ao Leuk. Tanot Beach is not suitable for simple swimming from the shore. It is more for snorkeling or diving. It is worth using sunscreen even if you swim early in the morning and in cloudy weather. Because the sea is really interesting. We were almost charred in 2 hours... The reception staff was a bit disappointing. The girls were not at all friendly. They delayed our check-in a bit and didn't even offer us water to drink. Then, as we were passing by, we saw a group of people with a welcome drink. Unpleasant. In general, there are a lot of people working, all young, but they haven't been taught how to greet guests and communicate with them. They don't have any basic skills. We don't require anything unusual. Just hospitality and politeness."
