It's challenging for me to review this, as we stayed here for 5 nights and had two different experiences, almost like staying in two distinct hotels. For the first 3 nights, we enjoyed an amazing, spacious, and modern room (Room 2). We were delighted! However, after spending a night in Skye, the owners kindly agreed to keep our luggage until our return the following day. Upon our return, we were assigned to another room (Room 6). It was small, dark, had a peculiar smell, was quite old, and incredibly noisy, being situated next to the staff's private rooms. The TV was smaller, as was the bed, among other things. When we inquired about the pricing of both rooms, the owners informed us that all rooms were priced the same. We were sadly surprised. My recommendation is to avoid Room 6. I believe it shouldn't be marketed as part of a four-star guest house, and its price should be considerably lower than the others. Nevertheless, the service was excellent, the common areas were cosy and clean, and the breakfast was quite good (although I would suggest opting for fresh fruit instead of canned fruit). By the way, this is an excellent place to try haggis and black pudding! The breakfast is absolutely homemade ❤️. Overall, it was very good!
