The hotel service is very poor and discriminates against Chinese people. I have lived in hotels all over the world and it was the first time I met such a strange service staff. I booked a sea-view room. I went to the hotel at 4pm and said that there was no sea-view room. I gave the worst room type, and the agent was not able to communicate. The beach of the hotel is not allowed to swim, the environment is poor, and the scenery of the homestay is much better than it.

I didn't like the beach area very small and sea****s un safe for walking inside the beach you need aquatic shoe's sleve areas inside the beach we recomend north beach ⛱️ hotel is nice personal very friendly

The property is good. We liked all of the natural wood accents. The pool is nice. We reserved a king room and they pushed two queens together. The beach is very small but the staff cleans it up in the evenings. There was NO service on the beach or pool while we were there. We had to go get our own drinks. There is a VERY loud bar next door blasting music starting at 10am. The walls are so thin we could hear the conversations in the next room. The shower is open so the rooms are not good except for couples. They ran out of eggs one day and red wine another. The biggest problem is lack of staff. The few that are there try very hard, but they need twice as many people. Our room wasn't ready at 3:00, but if we wanted to check out late they were going to charge us by the hour. They make you sign a document that says if you don't pay for something the staff has the right to take your personal belongings. The toilet by the pool has no seat. They count your towels before they let you check out. There is only 1 restaurant with a limited menu and they're out of many things. Everything we ordered was terrible except the tacos and enchiladas and pizza was ok. If you dine outside, you have to deal with stray dogs begging and urinating on the furniture. Again, the staff that is there was very friendly and working extremely hard, but you can't have 10 people running a 45 room resort during busy season. Bottom line, this place needs new management ASAP.

We booked all inclusive and the staff at check in argued that we didn’t. We had our receipt and it showed that we booked and paid for all inclusive but the staff still argued that we didn’t book all inclusive. It took more than an hour for the staff to get a manager on the phone ( since they didn’t have a manager on property). The manager agreed to honor our booking as all inclusive after reviewing our receipt.

We booked a birthday getaway to isla mujeres for 4 nights and 5 days and had a fantastic time. Stayed at hotel Belo and loved it. This hotel is just a beautiful gem.
1. I love the hotel design.
2. The room smelled great. Like super clean linen. The best
3. They have multiple outdoor speakers and play good music. (They take music requests)
4. The pool is great and the beach is only few feet away.
5. The location is in the outskirts of isla. About 10 min from ferry and downtown. Fyi if you want to go downtown take the bus. It only cost $1 per person per trip compared to taxi that cost about $12 per trip. You can also rent a golf cart for the day in downtown area for an average of $50-60. Research online which companies have cheapest rates. Some can go $115 and higher depending on size of cart.
6. The most important part of our stay at Hotel Belo was the staff. They were incredible. Made you feel so wonderful and so attentive to yours needs. Especially supervisor Alonso and Server Cesar. They were the best. They surprised me with a small cake and candle on my bday. The best.
Am i going back? For sure.

Service and staff are excellent. The only reason is not five star is because they ran out of alcohol and food items. I expected to be all inclusive every day. A lot of guest were complaining about the same if you tip the service is better. It was only like 25 guest if that there and they ran out kind of a rip off to be all inclusive.

Its was pretty enough, but there was really nothing to do. No bar, 1 restaurant and checkout was a little odd. They made us wait at the desk while they inspected the room
