Although I agree with the fact that not all staff speak English. I don't see it as an issue. With all the translator Apps available and the universal language of a smile and patience it is easily overcome. ( I mean if we read an article whereby a Turkish person complained that the UK hotel he stayed in no one spoke Turkish; I'm sure the outcry would not be to defend him) I digress. The hotel staff I found to be helpful and patient with me. I am a recent widow still struggling with the loss of my husband. Two staff members in my opinion went above and beyond. The Main Chef Eüyip and one of the Managers Mertin. Due to needing special diet. Every morning at Breakfast Eüyip prepared mine fresh. I never felt it was a problem. Also he's English is superb May I also say the food was delicious. The variety surpassed any other hotel. Martin also was always there with a smile and helping hand. Rooms roomy and clean. House keeping came everyday. Fresh water coffee/Tea for the room replenished every day. Also the option of a smoking/non smoking room is available. Travelling without my husband after over 30 years together this two men made me feel safe and secure PS ( get the two together they are a right comedy act everyday I saw them they made me smile)

I stayed at WOW Istanbul so as to be close from the Istanbul Fuar Mekezi which is just 5/15 minutes walk depending on the hall. The hotel is ok, the rooms are equivalent to some hotel chains like Accor Novotel and the food from the restaurant is also OK and at reasonnable price. However I am so desappointed by the service from the staff. Indeed after check out, once at the IST airport, I realized that I fotgot some clothes in the closet of my room and informed immediately the hotel via email. However after chasing them 3 time I still have no news. It is absolutely not acceptable especially for a 5 star hotel. Besides I guess this happens so often especially for customers like me who spent 5 nights in the same room...! It seems WOW Istanbul does not value customers and is not thinking about welcoming them again...This is typically the kind of issue that will definitely alterate a customer review... ;-(

The hotel website has not been updated and the staff are deliberately misleading people who call in. I specifically called and asked if the hotel was close to the new airport and they said it was. They were completely lying to me. The new airport is far from this. There is no reason to stay at this hotel if you are not flying for a short stopover to the airport

The airport took a taxi to the past 25 liras! It is a general chain hotel! It was very noisy outside. In the middle of the night, the mosque chanted for a while, and at three o'clock, it began to read at five o'clock. There were also the sounds of the locomotive motorcycles in various urban and rural areas. It is impossible to sleep well and it is impossible in this life! Hotel staff attitude is OK! Well, if you want a bed to camp, then this place will do just fine. It’s simple and pretty basic. You get aircon, TV (Turkish only), Wifi (not the greatest), Coffee, Fridge. The staff are pretty friendly and if you need something just ask. They don’t do food or drink, just a bed. But there are plenty of shops within a couple of away as are buses, taxis you name it. Your on a small side traditional street. I liked it and for the money good value. Don’t expect anything flash because you won’t get it. Simple but good.

I, Swiss, I had to stay normally 6 days in place of 5 , from Sunday 23 July 2023 to Saturday 29 July 2023. I have to ask for cleaning the room because it doesn't take place every day. When I return, I see the reason of my buttons, animals walking on my ear and in bed. Shoqué, traumatized by the idea of having sleep with it is bestioles on my body, I have only a desire to take the flight . I'm noticed the problem at the reception he offers me another room, the animals are in the hotel and have to walk. The hotel they want to offer doesn't want me because I risk infecting them. I'm leaving the hotel around 5 a.m. I'm trying to take another hotel for one night . I've been unable to sleep in my new room. I'm currently traumatized, and try not to think I've brought her punishments home with me. Retour en Suisse aujourd'hui samedi 29 juillet ça me démange, mais ça me démange, Je lave et je réveille, je deviens paranoïaque j'ai l'impression d'être même des animaux partout. Surely don't stay in this hotel for the moment because it is infected. We won't tell you. Good for them staff and very helpful. L.L

The centre is a clean, shiny hotel with new equipment. There are fine details to the dressing set and hair bone, a hotel you will comfort as well as your home. More importantly, the staff working are rhineful, good intentions and honest. We forgot our loading device when we found ourselves to leave the hotel, we said Izmir and midnight. Stayed for 9 nights in November. Very friendly staff who go out of their way to book taxis and give directions to wherever you want to go! Room cleaned/bedding changed every other day. The road is quite noisy if you stay at the front of the hotel, this was made worse as we had to keep the window open - no air conditioning as it’s classed as winter in Turkey now so it was switched off! Breakfast was good for the couple of pounds it cost, plenty of good restaurants around, the closest one being on the next corner! Shops/chemist/supermarkets a couple of minutes walk away, around £15 in a taxi from the International Airport. Would I stay again? Yes, but only if the air conditioning’s switched on 😀

The welcome in my hotel was very laughing and beautiful. On Google Maps only, the location of the hotel is not up-to-date, it makes it difficult to find a place that can be found very easily ... The room is very modern and comfortable. I had to study because I had to get the training I needed for my job and it was very easy to find the table in the room to the table lamp. The things were very comfortable and modern because it was a new hotel. The small needs (both cotton, earwash) in every hotel are not in the room, it was stated when it was requested but I didn't need it because I brought it myself but I expected it to be a little more generous about it: ) I didn't find the breakfast very different, especially if you stay long, you can get tired after a while, but staff are laughing and respectful ... I think it's the best hotel to stay in the neighborhood where I find it because they offer me a comfortable business trip Thank you.
