Airport Waves Hotel

This is my second time staying at this hotel. I liked the location: it's a 15-20 minute taxi ride to the new airport depending on traffic, not far from the city center, and within walking distance of shops, cafes, and a bank. You can also get around by bus and subway. The staff were friendly, and I was able to check in a bit early without any issues. The room was clean and had a kettle, coffee, tea, and drinking water. The view from the window was excellent. My room on the 5th floor was quite spacious. The only downside was that I had an early departure, and even though breakfast was included, it would have been nice if they could have arranged at least a packed breakfast for that situation. I recommend this hotel for a one or two-night stay at a reasonable price.

I really liked the hotel. It's great value for money, and the staff is professional and welcoming. The breakfast was poor, but that's typical for all small, family-run hotels in Istanbul. I didn't have high expectations. But the hotel itself, the bedding, the room, and the young man at reception—everything was excellent. A good option for an overnight stay between flights (I only stayed overnight).
