Almina Hotel - Special Class

It was an absolute joy to stay in this hotel. Hotel staf was very friendly and always ready to assist, answer questions or just to have a little talk. Breakfast was the best I had in a hotel. There was a large variety of foods and drinks. I have a gluten allergy, they even had special bread!! The bed was comfortable, the standard room was spacious and the bathroom had amenities and a nice shower (the water pressure was good!) We had a wonderful stay in this hotel and we’ll definitely return.

Me and my partner stayed at Almina hotel - August 2025. I have only great things to say regarding the hotel. Upon arrival due to an issue with our room, we had Adnan from the reception greet us, and explain the arrangements he had set in advance. He paid for our transport and booked us nearby at another hotel without any problem. Coming back the next day to check in properly, we were greeted by Vedat, who due to this "bad start" has upgraded our room to a higher floor. Till this point I can say problem management and client care have been excellent. The hotel itself is like the pictures, and even though small, it smells nice, and the rooms were very clean. The breakfast was definetelly worth it, with a wide variety to choose, from cereal, to fruits, to pastries, local appetizers, and even natural honey straight from the honeycomb! Everything was delicious, no other was to phrase it. Location wise it is about minutes walk from the central square where TopKapi palace, Aya Sophia, and the Blue Mosque are located. We were given instructions by both Adnan and Vedat on what to visit and also recommendations about the asian side of Istanbul. We also booked a tour which was nice after discussing our options with the reception staff. To summarise, the hotel was as in the pictures, clean and smelling wonderful. The stay was great, food was amazing, and the staff were super helpful, guiding and nice. Thanks Vedat and Adnan for making our stay in Istanbul a great one!

We had a short city break at this lovely hotel. Great value. Clean and very friendly staff. We were early arrivals. However Sefa sent us off for breakfast and our room was ready once we had finished. Breakfast was an incredible selection. Thank you Sefa - a true gentleman. We will be back.

Complaint about reservation cancellation Right after I arrive in Istanbul I got a WhatsApp message from the hotel asking what time I was supposed to be at the hotel to which I responded explaining that I was at the airport and was about to take a taxi and head to the hotel. In about half an hour later, and while I was in the taxi on my way there, I got a new WhatsApp message to inform me that my reservation was cancelled and that they had no rooms available. This is unacceptable and has caused me a terrible inconvenience. I demand to be compensated for it. I have and can provide evidence of the above. I look forward to hearing from you. Regards, Michael
