It was a good experience overall, especially with the location close to the Hagia Sophia.

I really liked the hotel. It's a lovely little house. The room was a bit small for three, but we managed to fit in. The staff was very polite and pleasant, always eager to help. Service was provided daily, and the bathroom amenities were fully replenished. The breakfasts, while modest, were delicious and plenty, especially with such a stunning view of Istanbul. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

Amazing

Our room was on the 3rd floor, with a magnificent view of the sea and Topkapi. Although small, it was cozy and had everything we needed, enough space for two people with large suitcases. There was a closet, slippers, and all the toiletries. The bed was very comfortable, as were the pillows. We slept very well, and it was quiet in the evenings and early mornings, which isn't always the case in Istanbul. We'd lived in other areas before and often had trouble sleeping due to street noise, but that wasn't the case here. The hosts were very warm and welcoming, accommodating our requests, providing a kettle with boiling water and tea upon request (there's no kettle or tea in the room), and treated us to delicious Turkish tea after a long journey. Breakfast was good, and the timing was convenient—it was until 10:30 if you suddenly needed a good night's sleep. The shower was excellent, large, with strong water pressure and always hot water. Thanks to the hosts. What could be improved and what isn't: they don't provide drinking water in the room and there are no tea making facilities. Add a shower head with a hose (currently there's only an overhead rain shower, which isn't always convenient).

Very good

The room was tiny; advertised as 20 square meters, it was probably more like 15 square meters. A 28-inch suitcase couldn't be fully opened anywhere in the room. The room's decor and facilities were quite new, but it had a cheap feel to it. An old man was constantly running around at the buffet breakfast, which seemed out of place (the entire breakfast setup was buffet-style). There was a box next to it with a 10 lira note, which was quite puzzling. The soundproofing was terrible; light sleepers should be cautious. However, most of these shortcomings were offset by the excellent location. Istanbul's main attractions are all nearby, and the room window offered a view of the old royal palace. Combined with the relatively low price, it was quite good value for money.

The location of the hotel is really great. It should be the closest hotel to Hagia Sophia. There is a temporary parking lot at the door which is also the closest parking lot to the cathedral. Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Obelisk, Basilica Cistern, and the Old Royal Palace are all within a few minutes' walk. It is also very close to the bustling commercial street, light rail station and Grand Bazaar. It is only a ten-minute walk to the cruise terminal. Minutes away from countless restaurants and shops. We stayed for three days, walked around various attractions in the old town, and took the light rail to Galata Tower in the new town. The exterior of the hotel is a small red building with a beautiful small yard. The lobby is small and elegant, and there is a small elevator, which saves you the trouble of carrying luggage upstairs. The fourth floor is a beautiful restaurant with a 270-degree view. The sunrise is right in front of you, and the Sophia Church and the Blue Mosque are just around the corner, shining in the morning light. In the early morning when there are no tourists yet, whether viewed from a distance or up close, those ancient historical buildings show incomparable solemnity and beauty. There are not many types of breakfast, but it is exquisite, has everything you need and tastes delicious. Of course there are disadvantages. Due to the limited size of the hotel, the rooms are very small. There is no free bottled water in the room, and there is no kettle (after checking out, I asked the front desk guy and I learned that if you need to boil water, you can ask the front desk for a kettle). The facilities are also relatively old, but the hygiene is up to standard. For such a hotel with an excellent location and a quiet location, the price is certainly not cheap. It all depends on your requirements for cost-effectiveness! All in all, it is a highly recommended hotel in Istanbul's old town.

Just downstairs from the Blue Mosque and Sophia Church. The owner of the hotel is an amiable elder. Recommended for everyone to stay. The elder’s family also gave me black tea to drink. Eating breakfast on the top floor with full sea view. It's a completely self-service breakfast. Fruits, eggs, sliced meat, honey, and black tea are all available for self-service. The boss is very generous. When we left, they helped us contact a taxi to the airport. 1. It wasn’t until I stayed in Pamukkale for twice the room price and had a very bad meal (the Pamukkale Hotel brought a pile of plates with nothing) that I missed the breakfast in Istanbul Konajwalid. 2. The hotel we stayed in in Pamukkale was too bad. The boss knocked on the door and shouted at us ladies even when we were taking a shower. Only then did we realize that the hotel at the Elder's House in Istanbul was safe and good. When we went out to play, we didn't have to worry about storing our luggage at the front desk. The top hotel in Pamukkale is the Pamukkale Whiteheaven Suite Hotel, and this is the most expensive hotel in Pamukkale, specifically discriminating against Asian faces. This trip changed my perspective. Either the most expensive one is the best. 3. Give Ctrip a thumbs up, as always, customers come first! Protect the interests of Chinese tourists.

1️⃣Location: Hagia Sophia is right outside, Blue Mosque is a 5-10 minute walk, and the cruise terminal is a 25 minute walk 2️⃣Service: The best hotel I've stayed in Turkey, welcome tea is provided upon check-in, breakfast is on the 4th floor, the view is great, the old man will come over and ask if you want fried eggs, and when you return to the hotel, the old man will greet you on the 4th floor, it's the first time I feel like I'm home when I travel

The room is very good. It's on the edge of the ancient palace wall and close to the attractions. You can see the sea view from breakfast. The hotel service is very good. If I come to Istanbul again next time, I will choose this hotel again.

Ctrip review I don't like the way this hotel handles problems. It's very rigid and gives guests a bad feeling. I think I won't book this hotel next time. The aunt who cleans the room is very nice. There is no shelf to put the toiletries for bathing, which is very inconvenient when bathing. Overall, it's not worth the price of about 1,000 per day.
