When I left the hotel, I clearly informed the staff that I did not want my room to be cleaned, as I didn’t want my personal belongings to be touched. Unfortunately, there were no “Do Not Disturb” signs provided, which most hotels normally have.
When I returned, it was obvious that the room had been cleaned anyway, and my key card was left inside the room, which raised serious concerns about privacy and security.
I immediately called the reception, but the response was very unprofessional. Instead of apologizing or taking responsibility, the staff said things like “we are human, we can forget” and “we are busy.” At that moment, they were clearly not busy. They also did not take proper note of my request. When I explained how upset I was, the response was simply “What do you want us to do?” — which is unacceptable in hospitality.
While the location is good, I do not recommend this hotel due to the poor service. The room is extremely small, the amenities are minimal and not up to standard, and even the curtains were not clean.
Overall, this experience was a waste of time, and I would not stay here again.
