Reviews of Galata Times Hotel

My experience at the hotel was nothing but unpleasant. -While checking in with my family, I was greeted by the most unfriendly staff. After presenting UK passports of the whole family, was asked for a birth certificate of my child which I obviously do not carry and have never been asked before! -The hotel lobby is narrow and tight, very unwelcoming and definitely what a 4 star (claimed) hotel should NOT look like -Finally when I could prove that I was actually the parent of my child,  I was handed over the key and took the tight elevator to our room on the fifth floor .  -the room was very small, had a balcony facing a block of cement of the adjacent building (so no air or light) , lighting in the room was pathetic.  -the bathroom was ok but had used shampoo and conditioner bottles in the shower area -the breakfast area had nice views but the food items were limited and not fresh. Strawberries had mould , the cucumbers tasted bad.  The online reviews about this hotel are fake . I wouldn’t rate this as a 4 star, almost it’s a 2 star . Definitely would avoid at all costs!

The location is right next to the Galata Tower, just across the street. There's a bus stop nearby, making it quite convenient. The room was small, and there were hairs on the pillows. Overall, it was pretty decent. The breakfast wasn't very varied, and I'm not sure what Chinese people are used to.

The room is quite small but clean. The breakfast is pretty good and you can see the beautiful view, but the mini bar is charged! They didn't tell us in advance and didn't show the price, which is not very satisfactory.

The breakfast is rich, the terrace has a beautiful view, and the room is simple. Thanks to the front desk staff for helping to book a taxi, I finally got a taxi with a normal price and not a rip-off! It's a great walking distance from galata tower and Independence Street.

The hotel is located in New Town, European District, only a 3-minute walk from Galata Tower. It is super convenient. The guy at the hotel front desk is super friendly and always recommends nearby restaurants to us. Breakfast is also typical Turkish style. There is different Turkish food every morning. It is delicious and I love it. The dining area is on the top floor and overlooks the Turkish city. It is very cost-effective.
