The two rooms we stayed in were very, very basic, but the rooms were passable simple rooms. The bed was very unclean. The most terrifying thing was that the dirty mattress was directly covered with thin sheets without any separation in between. Even though I had stayed in many cheap youth hostels in India and Southeast Asia many times when I was young, this The hotel beds are particularly scary.
The white sheets seemed to be 20 years old and dark in color, and the pillowcases and towels were also dark. It felt like the beds, pillowcases, pillowcases and towels in this hotel were discarded by a ten-year-old store and then used for another ten years.
When I booked the room, I believed the photos and didn't read the reviews. I regretted it after checking in. Since so many people criticized the fur as being too old, this hotel was indifferent. The location is great, it is near Bazzar, Blue Mosque, Basilica Cistern. The people that work in the hotel are very nice, helped with everything.. Selim especially helped with a few requests we had like additional towels, cleaning service, ordering a taxi, instructions on how to get to some places in the city.

We booked for a whole week to stay at the Reina Hotel. The first room we were placed in was filthy, there were hairs all over the bathroom and black filthy residue of something. I made pictures of everything, you van see them down below. We asked for a cleaner room to be placed in, after a while we got a new room witch was still dirty, we eventually just put up with it. There were stains over de bedsheets and the floors and walls were dirty. Nit to forget, we found a few bugs in our bedsheets. After a few days we noticed that our room wasn’t being cleaned. We had to ask and get our own toilet paper en ask for new ‘fresh’ (not at all) towels. We went to the lobby and asked friendly when the cleaning lady would come, they promised us multiple times but these were all lies. Our room was not cleaned for the whole week, and the people working there were not interested in keeping there customers happy at all. They didn’t care, and wouldn’t make a compromise for us since we stayed in a dirty room all week. We do not recommend this hotel for the price your paying!!

We gave up on staying at the Reina Hotel.
They offered us 2 unsanitary rooms in the hotel and in another unsanitary building 3 other rooms, smelling of paint and located in the basement.

Black mold in the bathroom. This was not ever cleaned or resolved. It definitely needs a lot of cleaning.
The area of the hotel is on a steel hill, walking up or down the hill with language is not safe. I would never stay there again

I booked twenty days, the hotel and the payment of course and in advance from the first night we found insects in the room everywhere on the pillow, bed, towels and sheets. We photographed everything and spoke with the hotel management, but the response was that they kicked us out of the hotel and cursed us very badly and they did not give us the money we paid And what is estimated at four hundred US dollars, we have been defrauded. It does not conform to the specifications written on the Internet. The hotel has three buildings, each building in a name, but one administration.

Had a 2 week holiday in Istanbul and stayed at the Reina hotel for the last 5 days of my trip. It was a pleasant hotel, very central and clean. The rooms looked new and had some seaview as well. which is always a bonus. The reception staff was friendly and chatty. They helped us with all our requests.
