Kadikoy White House

Very authentic hotel in a good location: coast, shops and cafes in 5 minutes walk; metro station, marmaray and ferry station are in 10 minutes by feet. The building is very cool, the state of rooms and bathrooms are very good, we also had a smart tv in our room so we could watch favourite youtube shows on a large screen before sleep. We took a smoking room - it wasn’t stinky, although you can smell a light scent of cigarettes (which is absolutely ok). There are a few moments that you should be aware of before booking - we ourselves don’t take this as disadvantages, but it is something worth knowing: - there is no much space to leave your luggage if you arrived early before checking in or check out long before the flight - you can hear every sound from the outside and from your neighbours: don’t hesitate to use ear plugs (none is provided by the hotel, take your own ones) - stairs are completely tough, so lifting your luggage into the hotel and to the upper floors is a competition The only moment that is questionable - we stayed here for 4 nights and had zero room cleanings. Maybe we have left the hotel too late for that, about 12:00, but we doubt it actually. If you need any supply you can just ask the staff and get them, but we were expecting at least some garbage collection when we were out.

The neighbors can be noisy and there isn't much management can do and if you're in the first floor, good luck, the floors squeak and you will hear everything from upstairs

We stayed in the standard suite on the first floor, smaller room but it was very clean, organized well and sufficient for two people. Very helpful staff, walking distance to ferry terminal, buses, cabs and the Kadıköy center. If you’re a light sleeper though, city never sleeps so expect some street noise and due to the historical building wood floors, some noise from within. I’d recommend this place for sure.

Really loved this place. Had everything we needed - clean and cosy building, nice decor and full of character, friendly staff, convenient location. We stayed in two different rooms on the top floor as we extended our stay due to how much we liked it. Nice balcony with views of the neighbourhood and the sea. Really easy to get to the boat for travel across the strait.

We love this place. We stayed a few times and always return, the staff are so helpful and friendly and the location is right in the center of Kadiköy and close rhe the water so easy access to European side. The rooms are so cosy and the balconies are Cute. If me and my partner are in Kadiköy again we will come back for the 3rd time for sure.
