I stayed here for two days, and trust me, if you're looking for a budget-friendly option with excellent service and decent rooms, this is the perfect spot. The staff is outstanding—very polite, helpful, and always available to assist. The hotel is conveniently located just 300 meters from the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, and Topkapi Palace. Since you'll likely spend most of your day exploring, this place is ideal for resting at night. Plus, the rooftop offers an amazing view that adds to the experience.

Sur hotel is a beautiful boutique hotel. Myself and my wife stayed for a few nights. Location is great in the middle of all the main attractions. İbrahim was very helpful and welcoming. Highly recommend the hotel. Blue mosque Aya Sofya. Topkapı palace. Eminönü beautiful places. Hotel only has 9 rooms. Nice and quiet. The hotel has been recently renovated. We would definitely stay there again in the future. Well done İbrahim and Suna great hospitality

Worst hotel in Istanbul. No elevator. Hotel is not maintained, i had mold black spots in the roof and woke up at 5am with water dropping on my head. Breakfast is disgusting. 1 boiled egg, a cut up polony and a slice of tomato. And if not finished its wrapped n kept for the next day. "Do not stay there". Plus i was over charged.

I was very disappointed with the hotel and the service. The room I was given was small, dingy and outdated. No space to put my clothes, Ac wasn't working and bed was springy and very uncomfortable. When I informed the staff and management I was told the issue would be resolved but this was not the case. Do not book to avoid disappointment.

The location is great, Sultanahmet Square is a 5 minute walk. View from the 3rd floor where they have breakfast on the sea. The building has a spiral staircase, it takes some getting used to. Room on the 2nd floor overlooking the street. If you open the window it can be a little noisy. Breakfast is ordinary, but could be more varied. The hotel staff is good and responsive. Especially Latifa!

We booked a room at the Sur Hotel. When we arrived, the administrator told us that there were no rooms and took us to another hotel, just as tiny. The next day we were told to check out of this hotel (before lunch) We thought we would check into Sur. But that was not the case: we were told that they would check into another hotel, but later, after lunch. As a result, we did not spend a single day at Sure. We only came there for breakfast. As already written, breakfast is the same every day, modest, but quite nutritious, on the top floor, on a glass terrace, overlooking the Sea of Marmara. The staff is helpful and friendly. In general, we were satisfied with everything.

It’s hard to call it a hotel, a kind of inferior economy guest house a la on the coast of the Krasnodar Territory, such room rental..... The owner saves on EVERYTHING. Everything is miserable, the room has no closet, tiny, dirty, even the radiator leaks and drips, plank floors and doors with an iron key. There is no cleaning service for a week, towels are not changed. Every day identical breakfast - (photo attached) a ready-made plate with one boiled egg, small boxes with honey, jam, chocolate spread and butter, several pieces of tomato and cucumber, 5-6 olives, several pieces of paper sausage. Everything is right on point! You can take a lot of bread and pour tea/boiling water from the kettle. Coffee bags. One plus - we eat all this in a glass gallery overlooking the Sea of Marmara and the remains of the Constantinople palace / fortress walls, but the furniture and tables in the gallery are like in a canteen, the oilcloth on the tables sticks to your hands... We go to the gallery from the kitchen (with a stove , frying pans and dishes), someone wrote you can cook, but cooking in the evening or during the day is STRICTLY IMPOSSIBLE, supposedly only in the morning..... In addition to the gallery, plus the hotel - location, 7 minutes climb up the street and you are on Sultanahmet Square, but in this area there is a carriage and a small trolley of hotels.... a hotel on a hotel.... We could choose for almost the same price (4-6 thousand rubles more for 6 nights of rest!!), for example we considered Almina4*, Yusufpasha3 *, Premist4*, etc., but they chose it that way.... P.S. And Istanbul is of course beautiful!!!

When I called the hotel and wanted to get information before making the reservation on 14.01.2022, it said it was 300 litas and on the website it said 185 liras and said if you can buy it, buy it from there. When I bought it, he said, "I won't let you into the hotel for this price, I'm not your contact person," and he said he would help me, but I didn't help, I've never seen a hotel like this. They will deceive the nation's minds. Do not choose this quiet hotel.

Pros: excellent location. The hotel is on a beautiful street, where there are many small houses - hotels, decorated in different styles. It is very quiet and pleasant to walk here. The main attractions are nearby. Breakfast on the terrace overlooking the Sea of Marmara and the ruins of an ancient fortress wall from the 6th century. Very friendly staff. Of the minuses: modest furnishings in the rooms. We had a small room overlooking the adjacent wall. Bed, bedside table, refrigerator, hanger, TV with 5 Turkish channels. That's it!) The furniture is old, but the room is clean. There is a hairdryer. Breakfast is monotonous, as described by many in reviews. But we only came to spend the night, read the reviews, and were ready for this situation. Places nearby that you can visit: 1. Hagia Sophia - admission is free. It's better to come by 9, while there are no queues. Later there are huge queues. On Fridays, Fridays m 2. Blue Mosque - at the time of our arrival - December 2022, restoration was underway. The main premises and façade are covered with scaffolding. It doesn't look like the restoration will be completed soon, so there's no point in going there anytime soon. 3. Topkapi Palace! It is better to visit with a tour; the history of this place is interesting. We ordered a tour from a booklet at the hotel reception. The hotel provides a discount from the price indicated in the booklet. 4. Grand Bazaar Market - an old atmospheric market. Shopping here is a little expensive, but it's great to walk around. By the way, in the market area, I recommend the excellent small cafe Doydukmu, where the Turks themselves eat. The food is homemade. Very filling and tasty. There is also a large old hookah bar in this area of the Grand Bazaar with the perfect hookah! And for shopping it is better to go to the Laleli area. 5. Basilica Cisterns. The T1 tram stop is nearby. You can buy a ticket near the stop at a kiosk. From here you can easily reach other attractions
