Nice room but expensive
The breakfast was great but only until 1030. Sunrise at 0810.
The toilet need repair. The whole hotel is under repair since last year. They merged another hotel with it.

We booked the Double Room, which was depicted as a relatively new and larger room in the photos. However, when we checked in, we received a room that did not look as per the photos as it was much smaller and older looking. Aside to that, the hotel is in a very convenient area with public transportation that is only a 3-5 minute walk away. The main attractions are also nearby and there are many food establishments around the hotel.

In some reviews, I made a reservation for Lalahan, but they assigned me to the Ilkai Hotel with low facilities right next to it, but it's true.
Enter the entrance of Lalahan Hotel and go straight to the side, then you are assigned to the building used as the Ilkai Hotel.
4 stars is a piece of ****
I was assigned to a room at the level of a 2-star motel, so I insisted that it wasn't the room I had booked, but it says "Larahan" on the room key and cushion.
I thought it wouldn't work, so I asked Trip.com for help, but the hotel's claim still hasn't changed.
In the end, I changed the room because they said they would upgrade it, but that was the room I originally booked hahahaha
The location is good and everything is good, but I can't stand it being like this

The lobby is small, but the room is OK and very clean. The lunch room that includes breakfast does good food for lunch and dinner. It doesn't feel like locals, but we all like it. The most important thing is the location of the hotel. In the old city, it is less than 1 kilometer away from the Archaeological Museum, Hagia Sophia and Basilica Cistern, and just walk along the tramway. In short, I will stay again next time I come.

The location is excellent in the tourist hotel area. It is within a 5-minute walk from the cross-sea line B1 subway exit. It is very convenient to go to the Asian District, Saw Airport, St. Sophia Basilica Cistern and the Old Palace by ferry. Downstairs are full of souvenirs, candy shops and restaurants for tourists. The prices are high and the rooms are small. But it's very tidy. The breakfast restaurant faces the street and you can see the trams coming and going at a short distance. The breakfast is also good. The staff is friendly. The only drawback is that there is no rooftop.
