Hotel Village Izukogen

I really loved this hotel! It was my first time experiencing a hot spring, and I'd recommend thoroughly reading the pamphlet the front desk gives you and picking out a suitable yukata after checking in. That way, you can go straight to the onsen in your yukata. The outdoor onsen offers a distant view of the sea, which creates a truly unique ambiance at night. It would probably be even more enjoyable when it's colder. The room was spacious, and the TV had NHK 4K – watching a World Cup game in the morning felt absolutely fantastic. The hotel offers pickup and drop-off services to Izu-Kogen station, which you can book in English via Ctrip's internet phone.

Izu Kogen Country Hotel | Exceeded expectations in every way, highly recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I was extremely satisfied with my stay this time, full marks! 🍣 Dinner Buffet & Breakfast • The dinner featured a sashimi bar with incredibly fresh ingredients, refilled endlessly. The hot food and BBQ were also excellent. • Breakfast was equally diverse, offering both Japanese and Western options, all delicious. I was very satisfied with the meals on both days. ♨️ Public Bath • The hot spring bath area is very spacious, with both indoor and outdoor baths, making for a very relaxing soak. • A nice touch: The hair dryers are Refa! They have strong airflow and don't damage hair, which women will love. 🏨 Room • I stayed alone in a large suite-style room. It was spacious with a separate living area, and excellent natural light, far exceeding the average Japanese standard. 🛎 Service & Facilities • The front desk staff were friendly and efficient, and free coffee is available in the lobby. • There's a large swimming pool and an on-demand massage/SPA area. • They are also very pet-friendly, creating a warm atmosphere.

The environment is very beautiful.

We got caught in a snowstorm in Izu, which brought traffic to a standstill. The staff personally drove us to the train station, in two separate trips, for which we are incredibly grateful. The hotel's breakfast and dinner were excellent, and the service was superb. I would definitely recommend this place next time!

The hotel's overall environment is good, with both outdoor and indoor hot springs. However, a female receptionist at the front desk saw us discussing in Chinese and rolled her eyes and shook her head at another colleague.
