The hotel was kind enough to let us move our dates. The trip was very relaxing, the food was more than what we expected for a breakfast buffet. The sights were stunning, I would urge everyone to book the private onsen for sure! There is a free shuttle bus going to and from the station so it is very convenient for foreigners.

A very good onsen hotel that I recommend to visit once! The room was clean. Ukata was beautiful. The Japanese kaiseki dinner was tasty, but my daughter doesn’t like it as she is not a sea food eater. But I am! Onsen was relaxing! Breakfast with a sea view was amazing! I strongly recommend this hotel and appreciate them for accommodation!

If you plan to stay in this area, you’ll need your own transport, like a rental car. The breakfast buffet has lots of tasty options and comes with a nice sea view in the morning. The private onsen costs JPY 3,500 per hour, and the experience was excellent. The front desk staff are very polite and friendly. Many local Japanese people choose this hotel for their vacations.

The place is amazing. Really like the room, big space with good Japanese tatami decorations. Food was amazing and you must really book with the dinner option. The food was great with thoughtful menu. Good vibe !

Was having high expectations for this place due to recommendation on social media. Was bit disappointing as the service n meal 🥘 menu provided is quite normal nothing out of ordinary, not as those reviews mentioned. The balcony view though is great oceanic view. Nothing much outside the resort so 1 day stay is good enough

The onsen hotel has 3 buildings and each has their own onsens. We went to the day tripper onsen, which is the best. The onsen at main building (roof top) is small with only one bath space and the wall is covered with mould. Dinner and breakfast were good. The hotel is near jogashaki coast and mt omuro, about 20 mins drive. We booked a room with private onsen and enjoyed it thoroughly

Honestly, I wouldn't recommend staying here before December 2016. The hotel's exterior renovations, internal elevator upgrades, and the renovation of the shared private hot springs made the stay experience quite average. I booked a one-night stay with two meals, but the so-called kaiseki dinner only consisted of sashimi and a decent stone pot rice main course. The rest was highly unrecommended. If you finish eating early, take the hotel shuttle to the supermarket near Izu Kogen Station to stock up on instant noodles and bread. The hotel prices are more than double those at convenience stores, but the breakfast is excellent. I personally recommend booking just breakfast and using the hotel shuttle to take you to other areas of the station for dinner. The hotel's large bathhouse has a nice view and is generally less crowded in the mornings and evenings. The hotel shuttle is located on the right hand side of the Izu Kogen South Exit. It's usually a small blue bus.

We carefully selected this hotel before our trip, only to discover upon arrival that it's frequently booked by locals. There were hardly any Chinese people there when we checked in, and the driver who picked us up even said it was his first time picking someone up at the hotel. English was available at the front desk, but the restaurant staff only spoke Japanese, requiring a translator. We stayed on the fourth floor of the South Building, which offered stunning ocean views. Some posts suggest the Main Building has better views, but I didn't get a chance to experience it, but I think the South Building's fourth floor is also quite nice. We booked a one-night, two-meal plan. Dinner was a Japanese set meal. If you're not big on sashimi, I recommend trying it once; the dinner set meal options are pretty much the same. Breakfast was average, but the fried saury was delicious. Transportation isn't very convenient, but there's a shuttle bus to Izu Kogen Station that runs about every half hour. Our biggest regret was that all the private onsen were under renovation, so we had to use the large public bath (which was also quite nice, allowing you to soak in the hot springs and admire the moon at night). The room types were a bit unusual; there were no king-size beds.
