B&B Hotel Paris Ivry Quai de Seine

My daughter and I have recently visited this hotel and it disappointed us so much on several occasions As soon as we arrived we was made to feel welcome the reception staff didn’t even give a simple smile to great us he had a sour face all the time never told us anything apart from the room number and wifi passcode. He never explained where was the breakfast room or anything he was quite rude. The maids was ok my daughter had accidentally left a paper cup out finished and it was still there after the maid had clean the room. Our pyjamas was thrown in the corner not put under our pillows like they would in any other hotel. One night the fire alarm went off at 1.15am we all rushed down to reception then the alarm went off there was no explanation about what had happened. The tv channel was all in French not one uk channel or any other country. The staff in the breakfast room was rude never spoke to us. One morning the lady decided to clean both coffee machines during breakfast and was un able to get a warm drink for 15 mins with our breakfast. The picture shown on the website for breakfast was very accurate I didn’t see any fruit in the 3 days we was there. We was left with a 1/4 of toilet paper to last us and my daughter had to go and get some from reception luckily she had her google translate in as the staff didn’t known what she was saying. In all I wouldn’t stay in this hotel again Please avoid

It was perfect for what I needed, a safe, comfortable place for one night. It is a little removed from popular areas or metro access, but Uber is readily available to get you to the nearest metro at Francois Mitterrand Library. I went to meet friends and returned around 2 AM, the area appeared safe and the lobby was well lit and attended. 7€ got me to Gare d’Austerlitz Very pleased

Good hotel, good breakfast, helpful staff but there is a lot of construction around it and other than getting a taxi or an Uber there is no other way to get around other than walking and the surrounding areas are a little scary

Place was easy to find - took an Uber from Orly. The only thing is that it STINKS as it's located right next to a garbage processing plant. But overall it was good!

In general, it was an amazing hotel! The bed was comfortable and I had the best nights! Check-in was easy and there was no check out. You leave your room and that’s it! However, for the low price, please expect a medium to long commute to the main attraction such as the Eiffel Tower or train stations (Gare de l’Est for example). Also, the bus/tram/RER tickets are not the same. If you see you need to take a bus and a tram on Google maps, it is 2 tickets of 2.1€. It can cost you a lot of money for public transportation and time. If you don’t mind walking to the nearest metro station, you can walk along the river because it is beautiful by the hotel. You live with the locals when you are staying at this hotel.

The room was too hot despite having the temperature as low as it would go. The rooms need a kettle and coffee and milk

If you need to be in Ivry Sur Seine -- and I did -- this is a reasonably priced good option. But if you don't need to be in Ivry Sur Seine, you might want to think twice, because the neighbourhood is soulless and the transport links are poor, making it unsuitable for someone wanting to spend a lot of time in central Paris, for example. My room was minimal -- a bed, desk, place to hang clothes, and a bathroom with no amenities except toilet paper and body wash. But it was very clean and very quiet. The air con worked well, as did the free wifi, and so the room was fine for me. The daily breakfast was standard continental serve-yourself buffet, but without fruit on one day. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Friendly staff, clean and comfy room. No frills, but perfect for our family as a long layover stay. We landed at CDG and had a flight to catch at Orly the next day. We rested and visited the Place D’Italie for a little shopping in Paris. The next morning Uber to Orly was less than 15 minutes.
