At check-in they didn’t tell me that i needed to use the key card to turn on the lights. I thought there was something wrong with the room. Also they said that they made a reservation for me at the Seafood restaurant but didnt give me a ticket. I went to the restaurant and they said my name wasn't there. I had to go to the lobby to get it fixed. It was a whole big thing.

I had already stayed at other Barcelós before but this is not what I expected. At night there was a lot of noise we couldn't sleep. They don't give you a reservation for the restaurant, only to whoever they want. They gave me a reservation after I complained to them. The housekeeping lady was rude when we asked for toilet paper because there was none in our room. The only attentive person was Paulina at reception. I would not stay here again and I wouldn’t recommend it.

Loved the little extras of champagne, chocolate covered strawberries, charcuterie board, & swan toelsOptions for different rooms was good,But the bathrooms were way too small

Would recommend Barcelo to all me family and friends. The Sap is Great. Staff is friendly, food is great and property is very clean. N9ce place to stay if yout in Ixtapa. 😁

The only thing that they have to do is the pool area with the pool beds people are getting ready at 6 in the morning to get them and never show up
