Beaches are beautiful but it could be unsafe, it’s open sea, there is no shallow waters there.
The hotel is older themed, open and you feel the outside temperatures throughout the entire hotel. The waiters were extremely helpful, housekeeping kept things nice, clean everyday. We choose an all inclusive experience, that includes 3 “high end gourmet experiences” the Bogart, Paseo de Mexico, & an Italian tour.
Lastly, two an all you can eat buffets, unlimited drinks, alcohol beverages. However, all restaurant locations seems to share the same food options, same types of deserts, same flavors, with the exception of Bogart all are overall good. But with a 5 day stay, we were tired of the same tastes. Before booking for all inclusive I recommend you ask if there is a dress code! We didn’t know better! Turns out you must dress casual formal. We spent extra money buying formal shoes. And I had to speak with different hotel member to excuse my special needs son dress code; we were being turned away from reserving at the gourmet restaurants. Oh yea’ you must reserve every morning before 11am your gourmet dinner experience for that same day.
We had a bad reaction after eating at Bogart, my child and I got so sick to our stomachs with cramps, diarrea on the 2 day of our stay.
Concierge gave us two Starbucks vouchers to use in the hotel for inconvenience. When we attempted to use them, we were limited on our selection to only coffee, teas over ice. No Fraps, no blended drinks.
