Love love love it. Superb, delightful, charming. Ryokan at affordable price

The room I booked is Western Style Double Room included half board. It is worth every dollar what we paid for on a decent spacious room as well as buffet breakfast and dinner. It’s very interesting you have to keep your shoes in locker next to Front Desk. The guests walk around either with provided socks or simply bare feet. Love the 7 private Onsen rooms are available at free each usage is up to 30 minutes limit. I think the hotel had been renovated so everything looks clean and gorgeous! Definitely I will come back!

Booked this ryokan for my parents. Its a little troublesome to get to this hotel but other than the location, the room was the best they have ever been too. The food was amazing in both variety and taste too!

Nice service and the staff are attentive. 7 private onsen are available for free. The food are also excellent. You may try as many type of local or western style dishes as possible. All good are very delicious. Will revisit in the future.

It is a family friendly hotel. The room is clean and cozy. The breakfast and dinner is excellent!!! The staff are friendly and helpful. Highly recommended to stay in this hotel if you have a trip to Shuzenji.

The food and accommodation was good. Room was spacious and clean. The only slight inconvenience is that there is a no footwear rule throughout the hotel. So you need to store your shoes in a locker near the reception and walk around in socks.

The hotel is close to the entrance of the hot spring street. Take the C10 bus from Shuzenji Station and get off at the 6th stop. Go forward, turn left, cross the bridge, and turn left to see the hotel entrance. Breakfast and dinner are buffets. Change shoes after entering the lobby of the hotel. Walk around barefoot in socks throughout the hotel. After checking in at the door, choose your own yukata and take toiletries. There are many yukata patterns. There are 7 private baths on the 4th floor of the hotel. No reservation is required. Just wait in order in the private bath hall and enter the private bath room. Use it for a maximum of half an hour at a time. There is an open-air public bath on the 9th floor. The lobby is actually the 3rd floor. The 4th to 8th floors are guest rooms, and the restaurant is on the 2nd floor. For some reason, even if you book on Ctrip 2 to 3 months in advance, the room floor is still the lowest. After all, there is a private bath and laundry room on the 4th floor, so it doesn't matter if the floor is a little lower. The washing machine here is free to use, and the dryer is 100 yen for 20 minutes. In general, it's pretty good overall. If I have to point out some shortcomings, I think it may be because of the tatami mats. If you walk upstairs with a little more weight, you can feel a thumping sound. If there are children running, it's even worse. In addition, the opening and closing of windows in the adjacent rooms also makes a loud noise.

If there are more than 2 people, you need to make your own bed (but we didn't use the bed in the closet because we saw a hair on it) Meals: All are self-service, with a lot of choices and average taste. Environment: The surrounding environment is good, the soup is also good, and there is a convenience store on the first floor of the hotel, which is very convenient. Service: There are different snacks at different times, such as night ramen 🍜, lactic acid bacteria ice cream served on time, etc. There is a lady who speaks Chinese at the front desk.

The taste is OK, and basically covers most traditional Japanese cuisine. I will recommend it to my friends~

Xiushan Temple is a small place. The hotel is considered a relatively large hotel in this area. Most of the guests in the hotel are Japanese, and most of them are elderly people. The dinner is good, the beef is delicious, there are not many sashimi choices, and there is nothing good about breakfast. It is ordinary. Dinner needs to be ordered. Many shops around are indeed closed early.
