Everything is excellent!! My experience starting from entering the hotel to leaving it was always good. The service, the food, the view, the onsen, are all brilliant. Tho it the location of the hotel is not convenient for travellers who don’t drive themselves, I wish to visit again.

It’s simply a treasure hotel in Nishi-Izu There are a total of 8⃣️ rooms, each facing Mount Fuji🗻The best angle to soak in the private bath and watch the sunset👀Mount Fuji🌄. The products of One Night and Two Hotels are not inferior to Michelin. The ingredients are good, the presentation is beautiful, and the taste is surprising. PS toothbrushes are all electric [laughing]

This is a traditional Japanese inn located in West Izu. Its distinguishing feature is the magnificent view of Mount Fuji from the open-air baths in all eight rooms, and it has earned a Michelin star. Indeed, the view of Mount Fuji from the open-air bath in our room was truly breathtaking. Both dinner and breakfast were served in private rooms in the dining building. For dinner in particular, we enjoyed a delicious fusion of Japanese and French cuisine, a "French Kaiseki," using ingredients from Izu. The actual meal we had is as follows: ◯ Parsnip mousse with sea urchin, caviar, and consommé jelly ◯ Spiny lobster marinated in Chinese cabbage, with soy sauce and yuzu foam ◯ Sashimi: Tuna, hairtail, and longtail snapper ◯ Steamed flounder and abalone from Sagami Bay with white wine sauce and local vegetables ◯ Shiraito beef sirloin steak from Shizuoka with black garlic sauce and roasted local vegetables ◯ Rice cooked with sea bream, bonito broth soup ◯ Benihoppe strawberry soup from Toi Yamada Farm, with yogurt mousse, condensed milk espuma, pistachio gelato, and meringue ◯ Sweets, coffee/tea The first dish, the sea urchin, caviar, and consommé mousse, was a perfect fusion of Japanese and French cuisine and was incredibly delicious. It raised my expectations. The sashimi of seafood from Izu was excellent, especially the seared hairtail, which had a pleasant smoky aroma and was delicious with salt. This was almost entirely Japanese food. The flounder and abalone with white wine sauce was delicious, allowing the flavors of the flounder and abalone to really come through. The cream sauce was also very tasty. The Shiraito beef sirloin was tender, lightly fatty, and had an elegant flavor. The black garlic sauce, which was like a balsamic sauce, paired very well with it. The sea bream rice was very traditional Japanese, but it was delicious. For drinks, I had a white wine from Izu. "Izu Shinano Riesling 2023 (dry) @ 9,000 yen" It was fresh and dry, with a subtle fruity flavor. It paired well with the seafood dishes. Every time, I am impressed by the deliciousness of the ingredients from Izu. The French seasoning also suited it well and was delicious. Not only was the room with a view of Mt. Fuji from the open-air bath impressive, but the food was also amazing. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

The food was wonderful, and I highly recommend the open-air bath with a great view and the spacious rooms! This is a review of my stay at the Michelin-starred inn, "Fugaku Gunjo," a hotel overlooking the World Heritage site of Mt. Fuji. The room was spacious and the open-air bath was stylish and relaxing! I was glad that the hotel was close to the bus stop when I went by bus. Right next to the lobby was a restaurant with completely private rooms ♡ There were 8 rooms, one for each guest, so I was able to enjoy my private time. [Hotel Dinner] "Toi" A symphony of seasonal flavors with the scent of the land and the sea ~Amuse Gueule~ Blancmange of butternut squash from Shizuoka Prefecture Sea urchin, snow crab, caviar, and consommé jelly ~Entrées~ Salad of spiny lobster from West Izu and turnip and persimmon, with soy sauce and yuzu foam The special dish was deep-fried pufferfish from Numazu in kataifi The warm and fluffy flesh was a treat for the taste buds ~OTSUKURI~ Bluefin tuna Two kinds of white fish from Ito, fresh wasabi from Toi, and various garnishes Fish dishes ~Poissons~ Pan-seared abalone with anchovy-flavored beurre noisette sauce, served with local vegetables Meat Dish ~Viande principal~ Shizuoka Prefecture "Wagyu" Fillet Steak with Truffle Sauce and Roasted Local Vegetables ~OSYOKUJI~ Hamana Lake Eel Shirayaki Chazuke with Pickles Pour bonito broth over the fluffy eel and put it on top of the rice. There's nothing more to say, it was delicious and made me smile ♡ ~Avant Dessert~ General Leclerc (Pear) White Wine Jelly Pear Sorbet ~Desserts~ Benihoppe Strawberry Soup from Toi Yamada Farm ~Café Thé et Petit Fours~ With Petit Fours I had the iced tea ♡ They also made rice balls for me to eat in my room at night when I got a little hungry It was a very memorable and wonderful dinner. I had a great time! ◉ All rooms are 130 sq m and feature private open-air baths. Indoor bath: Luxury jet bath. ◉ Total of 8 rooms. ◉ Custom-made beds from Nippon Bed Co., Ltd., a supplier to the Royal Family (futons can be provided in Japanese-style rooms). ◉ Free drinks refrigerator with mineral water, beer, soft drinks, pudding, etc. ◉ High-quality natural brand MISUZU cosmetics. ◉ Abundant nightwear! (Bathrobes are also available.)
